The basic concepts flat earthers always fail to understand:
      1. 3 dimensions.
      2. The scale of things they talk about and drawings not to scale.
      3. The difference between mass and weight.
      4. Rules of perspective.
      5. When saying density and buoyancy, these "things" can only work when there is gravity involved.
      6. The distance of the visible horizon from the observer dependent on the relative height of the observer from ground/sea level.
Did I get them all? If anyone can add to this list please do so.

While I agree generally, it's also not accurate as the size of the rotating object does impact the force. If you scale it down to a moderate merry-go-round (5 meters in diameter) you'd need to spin a bit over 1 RPM (or 1.1 km/h at the edge). Still quite slow.
A clock face, assuming about 10 inches in diameter, would be roughly 5 RPM.
The other main thing about using a tangential speed to describe rotation is that you simply can't derive a rotational speed in terms of degrees (without knowing diameter of the object, anyway). This is why it's at best an incomplete description of rotation.

But if the same plane is flying around the city at 1k mph, doesn't seem that fast, because it's going to take a few minutes. ... but flying around the earth at 1k mph, will take 24 hours.

What never ceases to amaze me is that, if I want, I can pick any arbitrary date, as far in the future as I care to go, and find out when the sun will rise and set at any spot on the earth, what phase the moon will be in, what stars and planets will be in the night sky and their exact positions for any particular time. I can also look up the date time and paths of eclipses far into the future. Past experience gives me a high degree of confidence that all of these predictions will be correct to a precision of a fraction of a second. All of this is done using the globe earth, heliocentric model that flat earthers insist has to be wrong. Yet the flat earthers offer me a model (using the term model very loosely), that can't even accurately predict what a sunrise or sunset will look like.

a correction, you are making a mess with the units, 6371 is the radius of Earth expressed in km, not in miles (and is an average radius, the equatorial radius is 6378 Km). F at the equator for a 70 kg person should be 2.358 N. Also, the rpm value is correct but has nothing to do with the 1000 whatever per hour, is much simpler, Earth does a full spin in 1436 minutes (23 hours and 56 minutes) so 1/1436 gives you the 0.0006964 rpm. Still, the angular velocity is normally expressed in rad/s (7.2927E-5 rad/s)
Protip: units are like drugs, don't mix them :P

OMG thank you. I was looking for this comment. I was dozing off and woke abruptly the second heard rpm in that equation. Also yes, I get the same value. I thought I was messing something up.
Also also units. Yes! I have always stressed this the few times I have tutored. If you have some meters per second multiplied by some jouleseconds and divide by some joules you will certainly have found some meters of something. Keeping track of units is a great way to at least have a guess for a question even if you have no idea what you are doing!

He's SO close with his own example!
Flying a fighter jet in 1038 mph and making a house sized turn will most likely not even be survivable.
Making a 2,5 mile turn will make you vomit and possibly even pass out, if you are not used to it.
A 25 mile radius turn will be very noticable, a 250 mile turn barely noticable, a 2500 mile turn will probably not be noticable, but easily measured, and an earth sized, 25000 mile theoretical turn would even be hard to notice on any measuring tool.
This despite the speed being the exact same 1038 mph in every turn.
It's the sharpness of the turn that matter (as long as the speed is constant).
Or, to take it back to the example with a house sized and earth sized sphere, it's the size of the sphere that determine the radius of the turn.
It is examples like this that make me convinced the absolute majority of flat earthers are actually trolls, they KNOW the earth is spherical, just as much as anybody.
