Hey family. Sorry it took so long to get the video out. The swim meet this weekend kind of slowed us down. Nevertheless we think this is one of our best videos on the show. Enjoy. 😉
I think Meadows seen or found out something about the Silo and that's why she changed her mind about being Benards Shadow. I got a feeling they nuked those people once they breached the walls. Then they sent Raiders there to secure the Vault and Solo killed them somehow.
@thenewwatchersonthewall No I dont believe they had it, but knew they kid did and they maybe thought they could co-oerce Solo. Because the dead by the vault were Raiders. It looks like on that chalk board they were keeping track of all the numbers they tried already. Maybe they starved. They could have had some nozzles that let out gas when they tried to leave. That's probably what messed up his eye.
@@tyizzle80yeah I saw the numbers too. But it seemed like once you enter code wrong too many times the vault locks down. Do you think they were trying multiple attempts? Also would they not have tech to open it or figure out the code. Love the way you thought about it.
In a way Meadows had a better death than it would of been if she went out there. I knew he wasn't gonna let her out, and eventually would have to take her out because he's a Company man. I just did t think it would happen so soon. Next episode is going to be crazy.
Yeah he is a company man for sure. We can not believe she trusted him with her request to leave. She should have been looking over her shoulder from then on. Or she should have collaborated with the rebels or something. Can not wait to next episode.
I was getting Victor vibes from Solo/Cole too. His development seems to have been suspended due to isolation, or he has gone a little crazy from isolation. The pandemic quarantine we experienced a few years back made some people go crazy in just a few months. I think Cole either forgot he isn't Solo or decided he can be who he wants now and decided he was Solo now. I think Meadows suspected Bernard might pull something, but I think she was hoping their connection and affections might win over. I think she had already given up on life in the Silo, so if Bernard offed her, it would still also dig a knife into him, so it was a win-win for her. Meadows trying to ixnay things via bureaucracy reminds me of what all countries do when they are approached with crimes against humanity - we will make a panel to investigate it and come back to you... Later they find themselves innocent. I wish Juliette would be more empathic, but that's not her character. She is very mission-focused and practical oriented. I feel like the unnatural environment they are living in his creating their divergence spectrum. Candace, if you read the books, maybe Patrick should hold off on reading them, this way one of you will be unbiased by and not get spoilers from them for the show so he can react with the TV audience? I feel like it's two different kinds of shows as some might only want to know about the show and not get spoilers from the books, and then there are the readers who also want a show for them and people who want to know what happens in the books without reading them. Just thoughts. I'm game for either and all. The Silo literally has a tiered social structure with the top being the top. Camille is like a Little Finger character, but scary. 8.5 relics too. Very clever and emotionally engaging episode with a lot of action. I got really upset and yelled at the screen when Juliette's shadow was offed, and I got a little upset and frightened when Solo was yelling in Juliette's face. I haven't seen spoilers and am only a few chapters into the first book, but here is where I think things might go. I think the tunnel links the Silo to other Silos. I think Juliette will either lead some kind of revolution that creates a new Pact, or this really is just a tale of learning to respect authority and the rule of law and the risks of conspiracy theories, misinformation and rebellion. The story message could also be about truth, but there seem to be hints that truth isn't always best policy, although I think that one manipulation of tricking cleaners is leading to the downfall of Silos, so maybe they should be more honest about that and the conditions up top. People wouldn't rush out if they knew how bad it was up there and people were sent out and instead allowed to come back after completing the cleaning - either as a career or to miners with the offer of early release upon completion. There are lots of other ways to encourage people to clean, since they can apparently make it back inside. It could also allow for trade with other Silos, but that could also bring risks of war. Still, trade could be vital if a Silo is facing a shortage or emergency.
I don't know if they're meant to be autistic (nurodivergent myself and hubby and son have autism) I think they are meant to be a representation of growing up and existing in an isolated society where "normal" socialisation skills can't evolve

Been waiting for this.
Yes. Could not wait to get this out.
Y'all are too cute together.
Plus it's a great review.
I can't wait to see more.
@@jeffmyers9696 thank you. Appreciate it.
What do you think of our Solo and Victor comparison?

WOW that is a really interesting idea. That may be very possible. But would they have the code to the Vault?

I get your point but Solo make terrible 2's look enjoyable. Jules trying to save an entire silo, she's allowed a little grace.
LOL you on Solo head 🤪 You are right she needs some grace.

@@Amy-hp9nz yep. Great point. Similar to Victor on From. Do you watch From
True solo and Victor share similar traumas and ended up similar mentally.
@@Player456London yep.
Do you think Judge Meadows should have been more cautious?
