      Yes... You can take any number of fringes. But, finally you have to divide by the number of fringes you have taken.

      Easy calculation pandrathukku 6000Å Podalam.... But, v r using Sodium Vapour Lamp, the wave length of the light is 5893Å m .

      In practical viva, they may ask about the wave length of the sodium vapour lamp light, that's why u have to put exact value that is 5893

      You should subtract small number from the big number. And, width is always positive .

      Same procedure... I did for 20 fringes. You can do for 10 fringes. At first Understand the procedure.
      If 20 fringes means we want to divide by 20.
      If 10 fringes means, we have to divide by 10.
      That's how we can find the width of the single fringe.
      Again if u've dbt, xplain ur dbt.

      These r simple mathematical calculation... Please try to watch again.

      Try this
      (n+10)-n,
      (n+20)-(n+10),
      (n+30)-(n+20)
      (n+40)-(n+30),
      ....
      ...
      ...
      And finally divide them by 10. So, u get the 1 fringe.
      After the tabulation , you can find the Mean value for the 1 fringe.
