Second weight is added..the tip is changing..bring in cross wire position , I adjust top screw horizandal positioni setup the tip.but cross wire +in not fixed in tip.my question is shall I lightly changed for traveling microscope? this method wrong or right .
You should fix the horizontal screw at the beginning only. During the experiment, you only use vertical screw. But, sometimes there is problem with Travelling Microscope. So, you can slightly adjust the horizontal screw as well as you can move the travelling microscope setup.

Yes, You can. But, that is not a proper procedure. For the exact value of Young's Modulus, you have to take both loading and unloading and then find the Mean value. That is the procedure.

And direct'a paarunga .. unga finger'a pin mela vechu microscope vazhiya parthu adjust pannunga...
At first microscope lens clear'a irukka'nu parthukonga...
Height of the microscope and pin same'a irukka'nu parthukonga...
And better you ask ur staff to guide you in tha lab as Practical.
And, you can adjust the knobs in lens-side, height and any others to fix the focus point.
