Arguably the most naturally gifted actor in the last 50 years. He literally had Hollywood by the balls in the 80's and pissed it away. He had James Dean's good looks w/Brando's acting chops and off the charts on-screen Charisma breaks my heart to watch his career fade away in the early nineties but was THRILLED to see it come back with The Wrestler.. To this day I've never seen a better acted movie than the Pope of Greenwich Village..
Oh dude. You should watch his scene in "the pledge". Best acting i've ever f@cking seen.
@@federicomanueldavila9853 I just watched that scene!! You weren't kidding!! Never seen Mickey so vunerable
He's great. Any movie he's in he makes it great.
You really feel Mickey's humanity through his acting.
He holds mysterious aura & energy in his acting that is magnetizing to watch.
Today "actors" sucks, only non talented clowns, mickey rourke is the most genuine actor ever, and your passion and charisma is unmatched
One of the greatest of all time and still no Oscar...what a shame...
Should've won for The Wrestler
He should got at least Nominated for his Incredible Performance in Angel Heart! Oscar's Snubbed him hard that year!
Un actor guapisimo y increíble, se merece un oscar.
Hollywood has never forgiven him for thumbing his nose at the Hollywood elite.........what do they know......he is one of the best actors EVER!@@nox5870
F the Oscars. Mickey is a certified legend in his own right, regardless of anything. Doesn’t need no Oscar. In fact, he’s better than anyone who has won an Oscar…..
Mickey Rourke had all the magnetism, charisma and soulfulness of the greats. He was the 80s early 90s James Dean. He could convey a whole conversation of feeling in just a look and a movement of his face…. What a shame self destruction stripped him of that ethereal beauty and deftness of expression.
The GOAT… In terms of Hollywood (leading) men, with everyone at their best, I’m probably saying Mickey Rourke is the best ever!
Thanks for the compilation.
The ever charismatic..............amazing Mickey Rourke. I hope we get to see him in more great movies in the future. That elusive Oscar should have been his, many , many times over.
This man is a phenomenal actor. Despite his self destruction and substance abuse, he remains right up there with the Greats.
His work in the 80s was astounding. Flashes of brilliance in Rainmaker and Thin Red Line in the 90s.
Mickey is really something extra special, thanks for all your hard work acting. Love to Mickey!!!
This was such an excellent movie in every way. RIP William Hurt.
BEST put together compilation of MR here on YT. Stud, the man and idol.
Cool compilation. Big fan of Rourke.
Thanks Akash for this tribute to Mickey, much appreciated. Some of my favourite movies of his are represented here. GREAT actor !
Diner is such a good film. Everyone acted so naturally like they've known each other for years. Incredible acting from the whole cast.
Beautiful work of an amazing actor and fascinating man!!! Thanks so much!!!
Gorgeous and more.
So close to being up there with Dean, Brando and Burton❤️
He was up there with Dean , Brando and Burton......................and always will be !
You missed one of the best scenes ever with Jack Nicholson in "The Pledge". By far one of the greatest examples of Mickey's acting
extra love mickey rourke forever & ever
Mickeys a legend
Love him!
11:10 Mickey with his iconic cigarette and the guy ran away, the cigarette is scarier than a gun 😂
Such a GORGEOUS MAN, SOOOO SEXY &
A TERRIFIC ACTOR !!!!
It Comes Natural To Him with Little Effort ! Cant Stop looking at Him 💕💓💯
He was the male version of Marilyn Monroe…sexy, innocent, good looking, sweet, sexy.. he was everything!!
So true!
Yes, he was THE MAN 😍🤤
❤THE BEST,MICKEY❤
William Hurt's character shoulda let Mickey Rourke do that job in Body Heat. Then he would have had an alibi. But Hurt's character was a half wit,so there you have it.
Rourke stole an incredible film and he's only in two short fuckin scenes!
11:00 she : " are you crazy?" Mickey: " Yes!" 😂
Francesco , movie from Liliana Cavani, I think is his best performance , in the final part mostly . Angel Heart e Homeboy excellent performances too.
"You're half Irish....so I make considerations"...Burt Young at his BEST!👑
Wowzer
That speech at the end was kind of autobiographical of Mickey Rourke.
Mickey Rourke was born with incredible talent and charisma together with looks that would make women melt into their shoes. But add in childhood abuse and everything went to hell. So sad.
The face thing started in Homeboy
I keep hoping he will get his looks back, but he is still a great actor when given good roles!
Brilliant actor, compelling performances. Mickey could have done Shakespeare with his eyes closed
Самый красивый на свете 💖
He’s so hot ❤
He was.so.handsome when he was.young we all look good when.your.your as we age your body is face changing sorry for the typo my fingers are not so good with me having MS
Posso sapere che film è grazie
Yes back in the day things are worse now.
I think Deniro was threatened by him in the 80s
I believe Christopher Walken would make a great Joker.
