Ok, everyone, to clarify. Octavia RS has its own sound generated through speakers. But the local dealer-added aftermarket Pantera sound generator as it allows louder sound and custom sounds. When I got the car I wasn’t aware of that modification. I thought Škoda decided to add a remote for turning On/Off their sound generator. Personally, I am not a fan of any sound generators. But some people like it.

20:40 The keylock on the door in the rear is for disabling opening of doors from inside. The toggle lock in the window control panel is nn the driver side is for disabling control of rear windows from the window controls in the rear.
Can the stock sounds be deactivated without this Pantera sound generator add on?

I received mine 2 weeks ago. White version with black rims. Best car I have ever owned. Yeah the noise is weird, but clearly I did not buy it for the noise. 😁
- The scrapper plastic corner helps you measure the tires tread
- you can push the SOS button, which will reveal another red button "Lamborghini style" 😁
- UI / software was indeed fixed

You forgot to mention IMHO a very important standard feature in only the 2.0 TSI RS model; the mechanical limited slip control (VAQ).

when you put them on "daylights" you actually put them to parking lights, and those are dimmed down comparing to normal daylights

Koliko me sječanje služi Canton je bila nadoplata ali nisam 100% siguran. Vidim da ih nema u konfiguratoru. Moguće da su na restrikciji, odnosno nemaju ih u ponudi jer im fale djelovi. Najbolje se obratiti prodajnom savjetniku i provjerit direktono.

@@Beniu19892 Hi, I ordered that around September 20th and delivered on December 15th. It is beatiful car, I still own RS 3, but gen 4 is a really higher league.
You only have to touch the inside of the door handle to unlock, not pull on it. :)

I'm driving all of them in my job... Škoda is best for travelling and also it is most comfortable from those three options
I dont like A4 at all just because its hard and the interior feels kinda cheap
BMW 3 is fun car and it has better infotainment system than Škoda, but its not that comfy inside

I have question about engine sound the last part of video, you did through app is it standard or it's extra feature?
Extra aftermarket feature. All new cars after 2020 have dampened exhaust sound due to new regulations and aren’t loud. This can be added to any car. But it’s still fake sound generated by computer.
Zdravo Evo I jas Sam kupio novo rs combi ali me interesuje nesto. Mozda je i Malo glupo pitanje. Znaci vako. Kad stisnem invidual "zvuk motorja sport" I sve drugo u normal jel ime nesto to veze sa potrosnjom ovaj "zvuk motorja"? Hvala
Postavke motora "sport" troši više jer motor ide u više okretaje prije šaltanja u višu brzinu. U "sport" modu auto projecira zvuk motora kroz zvučnike za osječaj sportske vožnje. Novi motori zbog novih regulativa se ne čuje u kabini uopće kao nekad, jer je broj okretaja limitiran jer ne smiju ni prelazit određene decibele zvukom auspuha.
Ukratko postavka motora "sport" da troši više. Sad sam zaboravio ako ima samo postavka sportskog zvuka a postavka motora "normal" onda ne troši više jer šalta ranije.

They fold when you lock or unlock the car. You can fold them via mirror controller.

@@logitech6911 nope, you can only switch it “off” and then it displays clock, but you can’t turn off the screen entirely while driving.

You have reviewed very exhaustively.. probably I may need more patience.. I was waiting for the drive of the car on various terrain like day, evening, night, City, inclain.. particularly night drive with headlight on and it's throw.. indicator, turn lights.. sound proof while drive on City traffic.. high speed maneuver.. Etc.. but I don't know why most of the reviewers missing this...
Most reviews are don by press who are lazy and they do overpass since they are paid to tell you how car is great. I am not. Other UA-camrs do it for money. I do it to help people when spending there hard earned money.

@@Merwenus not on previous 3rd generation. in VAG cars, Kessy lock or unlock when you actually press the remote or touch the doors handles the correct way.
If you unlock and do NOT open any doors, then it wil lock back alone after 40sec.
@@EricLacomblez Thank you but my Octavia arrived a few months ago and sadly I could test it myself and as you wrote it does not close the door when I leave the car. Thats a bummer because the car even knows where the key is (my wife can't open the door when I'm on the other side of the car)
@@Merwenus well..that's the way it's designed... There's no reason to force the locking if you are moving away from the car. It could have been some optional parameter for sure. But It's that simple you have to explicitly lock the door. Kessy is such easy ..just touch the outside of any handle..

your preparation for this video is kinda poor... first filming with a phone then not knowing what options or after market options the car has. i was used to better quality content on this channel.
I appreciate your criticism, but to put things into perspective. I got the car in short notice, dealer didn’t mention after market part. All other stuff that is extra is pretty much mentioned. Sorry if I missed something. But every country has standard equipment tailored by local importer. So if I mention some stuff they might be off in another country. And there are plenty of you watching from different parts of world.
All my videos are filmed on my iPhone camera if you haven’t noticed so far, camera is pretty high end and battery lasts long enough sam as storage.
Also getting cars for test isn’t easy in short notice as well, you might be surprised but this ain’t press car, this is car from a dealer who needs the car for test rides. So they need to book car for me, and there are lots of customers who want to test the car as well. But you get to see it first. Press cars are in advance reserved for journalists who drive around for fun, write a generic article and snap few photos.

Thank you for the info. And the serial rims are 7,5j 18 inch ET48 with 225 45 18 tyres. With 20mm spacers you have ET28.
So if I get 8j 19 inch ET35 with 225 40 19 tyres, it would be the same clearence on the fenders. So should be all good.

That sound generator remote etc is nothing standard as far as I know? I have never seen that in any other review. I know the car has a sound generator inside, but you can just turn it on and off. Can you check that with the seller?

Yeah UA-cam is probably pushing many ads since it’s Black Friday and upcoming holidays... but ads pay for the video so you can watch it for free. UA-cam premium is not a bad deal.

Usually the Skoda Dealer in your locality will sell them or order them for you. In fact, when I asked for 4 extra ones for my car my dealer gave them to me for nothing !
