You’ll probably never read this, but when my kitty Aleczander passed they were playing the original song at the vet. We drove home after letting him go, and played this on the drive. It’s become a crucial part of remembering him, and reminding myself it’s not over. Hell always be in my heart, and this track makes me feel closer to him. Thank you for that, for this. I've been listing to Jellyfish and Crowded House for decades. These have been two of my favorite bands of all time... but my love of them was totally independent of one another-- I had no idea there was a connection. And then, last month... I'm watching an interview with the lead singer of Jellyfish. They asked him, "Who's your biggest influence?" Without hesitation he said, "Crowded House." My mind was blown.
Incredible - makes me want to either a. magically be able to play like this, or b. give up guitar. I already love the original song, but this is the most beautiful version I've heard! I'm from New Zealand - we used to watch Neil and Tim Finn play almost every week at our university before Neil formed Crowded House and became a big success. I hope to see them play in September here in California. I really wish Mateus Asato was playing with them!

I've been listing to Jellyfish and Crowded House for decades. These have been two of my favorite bands of all time... but my love of them was totally independent of one another-- I had no idea there was a connection. And then, last month... I'm watching an interview with the lead singer of Jellyfish. They asked him, "Who's your biggest influence?" Without hesitation he said, "Crowded House." My mind was blown.
To me, this is an epic formation of a stellar rendition of nostalgia!

Incredible - makes me want to either a. magically be able to play like this, or b. give up guitar. I already love the original song, but this is the most beautiful version I've heard! I'm from New Zealand - we used to watch Neil and Tim Finn play almost every week at our university before Neil formed Crowded House and became a big success. I hope to see them play in September here in California. I really wish Mateus Asato was playing with them!
