The words are the least important aspect for the most part. Awen has its origins in welsh yet you me and many others live in other places. Perhaps the first person that made up Awen was from Zambia nobody knows ... lol . It’s about discovering working with and utilising your nervous system , the heart and mind. There is one connecting common denominator like in your question did the Druids have connection with American Indians - yes humanity , love of the land and universe. You can draw many parallels but reduce to simplicity to essence and it makes more sense. The mind is free to make its associated parallels and connections but let’s go beyond that 💨🌈
