I'm a mid plat which I guess you aspire to get to, I would say you need to use your defense matrix to save your team not yourself so much. Try to stay with your tank and healers bc most of the time DPS at that rank do whatever they please. So focus on protecting your team with defense matrix and learn what matchups you can win and how. D.Va is such a great character bc she can protect her team, and has a way to beat any hero. I promise you if you protect your team and you can make it to Plat but as I write this I notice you're only lvl 400 and you've played 10 seasons. I'm level 300 and only played 4 or 5 seasons. If you're seriously trying to climb I would recommend playing more often and record some of your games and rewatch them yourselves and whenever you die, lose a fight or win a fight pause and think why that happened
Biss_Quick i’m a diamond player, almost in masters, and honestly eating firestrikes with your defense matrix is a priority. i play lots of rein, and eating my firestrikes get me crazy cause i get 0 ultimate charge, if reinhardt doesn’t get damage/ult charge, that’s huge, it’s their main tank, and reinhardt earthshatter is one of the best follow up ults in the game, which can wipe out your team horrifically, i see your only mostly using defense matrix when ults are being used from the enemy team, that is good, but you should use it for many other scenarios. remember, you can use defense matrix while using micro missiles, honestly you did pretty good and aslong as you fix those little mistake plat should be an easy run for you.
there has been some gold pc overanalysed on this channel that were not gold worthy either just to remind all of you, aiming aside (because of controller vs mouse/keyboard) there is not much difference between rank on pc and console, and what's makes me think i'm so right is the numerous top console player that got to high rank on pc too

this dva is terrible. They got hard carried. Their rein actually held the shield up and got some good pins. Their healers actually did their job. Never seen a gold moira actually switch to healing. This Dva did nothing except take damage when she couldve eaten it, misused her ult, tried to long range damage with her shotgun and did not dive any healers. There was no game sense. You don't know what you're firing, or what your team is doing. what ults theyve used, what ults the enemy has used. You aren't even gold. If you didn't get carried so often, you'd be silver. OW is a team game and you give a ratsass what you're team is doing, despite them doing all the work and carring you.
lmao, theres no such thing as bad dva ult unless u ulting in spawn. every dva ult near enemies has a porpose.also in my games at least when we get gold moira all they do is heal and take out genji or tracer or helping with pharah when they need a rechargei guess u werent lucky to meet an healing moira XD.

The Mercy ults and then goes AFK in the sky. I died laughing every time the spectate cam went onto the Mercy. It was so bad! The Mercy didn't use damage boost a single time, was healing full heal allies AND she was also standing still! So cringy, even for gold, that was bad.
Not really. Stylosa himself says he's good, but that they need to work on correcting those mistakes and bad habits that he points out. Now that he knows what those are, he can improve and become a better player.

Honestly, you don't need coaching to get good. As a high master/gm, all you have to do is find which characters you're good at or prefer, grind and don't get triggered. I placed gold my first season, anyone can hit gm.
I mean, the game has gotten increasingly hard to have individual impact on. If people are losing they just swap to the easy high impact heroes and your carry potential is instantly lost. I don't think you're factoring in how much the game has changed over the course of almost 3 years now
@@jpool115 it has gotten easier, 6 stacking only got me through diamond. Hit master/gm soloqueuing as rein, hog, lucio, mcree. Every character can be extremely high impact if you play them to their highest potential.
The reason why Dva is the best off tank in the game because DM is better than Zarya bubble, she can take high ground easily, and her damage isn’t half bad compared to Zarya since she can spam 24/7. This guy needs to work on trying to utilize high ground every chance he gets. If not he should mind as well just play Zarya or Hog if they never want to use the high ground.
Ryan McCarthy Overall D.Va tends to be better than Zarya, but it’s situational like all things in OW. Can’t defense matrix your Rein when he gets pinned by their Rein

At my rank (silver) for some reason the enemy Moira always decides to flank. It never really works, but every once in a while we’ll lose a low health teammate to her.
The reason you are gold is because you use defense matrix like its a frontal shield instead of this massive 15 meter long vacuum. do you know how long 15 meters is in overwatch??? Thats the range of Zarya's Beam. D.va's Defense Matrix is a long as Zarya's beam and your not using it as such. You don't even know your character so how do you expect to climb.
I'm usually in Gold. I've been in Platinum and almost I arrived to Diamond (2897). The real problem is this game is a team game, and if you don't usually play with a closed group of friends, serious players, you're going to be stuck year after year. You can't win alone.

BatYeena PWI I was silver and I was stuck as well. I switched to D.va and instantly climbed into plat a month later after I got ow and also soloed. I'm on console btw. Honestly, this dva player wasn't the brightest .

I started out in gold. 2 seasons later I managed to get into plat and reach my all time high of 2740SR. I dropped back to 2600 and I've been around that rank ever since. Sure, I hardly play any competitve, and there are many bad habits I can't break because I don't play enough and because quickplay isn't the place to break habits. But I can't really play more competitive either, so I guess I'm stuck in low plat forever. (and to be honest, that's fine by me)

As a top 500 dva on ps4 and number 1 with her during multiple seasons (on various smurfs) this was so hard to watch. I once coached a dva main in gold and helped them get high plat but this might require more work. Sucks that once you move to pc anything accomplished on console doesn't matter anymore but I prefer pc more even though I'm not as good
I’ve been plat since season 5. Made 3 alt accounts placed 3488, 3297, 2651(now 2902). Can’t climb on my main. I’m a pharah main. I know the pain of being hard stuck.
Thing is with this game you could be a plat player but it is more or less luck based if you climb; you need good a good team. To climb consistently you need to be much better than your current rank to carry and get out of it.
i main sym and dva in high gold on pc. i ended last season pretty low gold but i placed 2300 and climbed 100 sr in a day. i basically just stopped trying to play support and play sym and dva cause i can actually get kills with them. anyone got any advice for how to get out of gold

Reached diamond in season 5 touched masters in season 10 but dropped to plat and now im in low diamond so i'd say im hardstuck as well, I've given up on overwatch at this point

She ate some Moira healing orbs when she eats them it kinda works like a genji deflect for a split second that's how she can heal very small amounts
At my rank (silver) for some reason the enemy Moira always decides to flank. It never really works, but every once in a while we’ll lose a low health teammate to her.
The reason you are gold is because you use defense matrix like its a frontal shield instead of this massive 15 meter long vacuum. do you know how long 15 meters is in overwatch??? Thats the range of Zarya's Beam. D.va's Defense Matrix is a long as Zarya's beam and your not using it as such. You don't even know your character so how do you expect to climb.
His problem isn't the range, it's learning when to, he wasn't waiting for them to come close, this is gold, he has slow reactions
I'm usually in Gold. I've been in Platinum and almost I arrived to Diamond (2897). The real problem is this game is a team game, and if you don't usually play with a closed group of friends, serious players, you're going to be stuck year after year. You can't win alone.

BatYeena PWI I was silver and I was stuck as well. I switched to D.va and instantly climbed into plat a month later after I got ow and also soloed. I'm on console btw. Honestly, this dva player wasn't the brightest .
Honestly stylosa just states the obvious and doesn't actually coach anyone on anything he doesn't tell them how to fix what they are doing he just states the basics

I started out in gold. 2 seasons later I managed to get into plat and reach my all time high of 2740SR. I dropped back to 2600 and I've been around that rank ever since.
Sure, I hardly play any competitve, and there are many bad habits I can't break because I don't play enough and because quickplay isn't the place to break habits. But I can't really play more competitive either, so I guess I'm stuck in low plat forever. (and to be honest, that's fine by me)

Im a ps4 dva main in gold and this triggers me badly, I constantly melee and use my defense matrix at the right time yet still unable to climb and that is why im watching these👌🏽
26:14 I've actually played goats in high silver and it actually kind of works. Obviously it's not as good as it is in the higher ranks but we stuck together and won plenty of games

As a top 500 dva on ps4 and number 1 with her during multiple seasons (on various smurfs) this was so hard to watch. I once coached a dva main in gold and helped them get high plat but this might require more work. Sucks that once you move to pc anything accomplished on console doesn't matter anymore but I prefer pc more even though I'm not as good

I’ve been plat since season 5. Made 3 alt accounts placed 3488, 3297, 2651(now 2902). Can’t climb on my main. I’m a pharah main. I know the pain of being hard stuck.
Thing is with this game you could be a plat player but it is more or less luck based if you climb; you need good a good team. To climb consistently you need to be much better than your current rank to carry and get out of it.

i main sym and dva in high gold on pc. i ended last season pretty low gold but i placed 2300 and climbed 100 sr in a day. i basically just stopped trying to play support and play sym and dva cause i can actually get kills with them. anyone got any advice for how to get out of gold
