Thanks so much for this budget Hailey guide. I was stuck on the Rescue Hailey mission and had tried everything on a budget build but just couldnt take down the final boss, Ledras. Failed the mission for 3 days in a row. Just used your build for my Hailey and for my Tamer and one-shotted the boss with the 2nd skill (Storm Snare) after taking his shield down with Tamer. There aren't enough budget build videos out there so thanks again for making this one. It worked like a charm!
@@MeretriciousLynn I've since moved to the perforator and it does work better but the Naz was all I had when I first saw this video and it did work as a decent substitute. Just not as effectively as the perforator.

Hey just letting you know bosses have a critical rate resistance. It’s roughly between 70-75 meaning for Hailey she’ll start at 5% add up to 40% at 16 stacks of cold fury. Skill insight will have you going over reaching 96.9%. With front lines and emergency measures you’ll be at 86.5% still going over but have more crit damage in return
It is always with hitting 100%. As the Crit Res is a multiplier on what you do (though a negative one...) Going over 100% is the only time it is ever a waste. As the game will ignore any stat over that. Even if the enemy lowers your Crit rate with its res or debuffs. There is sadly no way to cancel out the Crit resistance by over investing in Crit rate....
Agreed there is actually a cap on how much crit to invest in loading all the correct damage, correct rate mods does none help Haley . The only thing I will agree with is there is actually crit resist as well as the fact the weak points are weak against specific damage types. Ie frost walker specifically says that pierces effective against his weak point
They’re looking for a way to link the normal descendants to their ult variants since other people had this same mentality. I think Moxsy or GSXR mentions it in one of their latest vids.
spending resources and time to max out base characters is such a waste since they will be thrown away when the ultimate comes out. once everyone figures this out this channel will be the top TFD resource.
Outside of the fact all the farming you do will give you more resources than you’ll ever need till they add another way to upgrade descendants/weapons, they’re (allegedly) adding a way to transfer reg descendants upgrades to their ultimate variation Until it’s actually implemented I kinda agree but afterwards it wouldn’t particularly matter.
@@Dbzwar1 you'd get all the resources since you'll be farming for ultimates right away. Since I switched out and went ultimate chasing i've been getting a lot of ultimate weapon mats without even trying. Ultimate version should have always been an upgrade from base version. I get the cash grab reason why they did it though.
i dont like with her is how when doing her skill you cant move and it takes to long to get into it. i wish you could like roll out to cancel or something
all well and good but getting the reactors first is the problem. im lucky to even get one for the right weapon and even luckier getting one submod on top but getting 2 correct ones? pfff i mean like seriously im watching every build on yt but its always the reactor getting in my way. kinda enjoy the game its different for what i normaly play or played before but this is getting ludicrous... and the best or worse is im not even playing for just 2 or 3 hours grinding these things, im starting to think like how long can i continue doing this with no reward

god roll reactor would have gold boss damage and either singular or chill boost, the crit damage doesnt help as much because not every shot is a crit, even with max critical mods and her 3 active. Def farming 2 for perferator and naz (i only have naz atm)
hmm I can't seem to get over 1.4million on my first shot then it gradually goes down. I have same build but with a slightly better reactor with purple vs colussus.
Does this still work? Or did she get nerfed? Having a hard time finding any info, I know its low budget but I'd still have to do a decent amount of work to grab all the stuff required for this, dont wanna do all that then find out it doesn't even work anymore.
tfd devs barely nerf unless its game breaking bugs back when gley launcher build came out they brushed it off as creativity and said there are better builds still yet to be discovered so yeah no worries there

I don't have a fully invested perf so I can't say if it's better or not, I can say if you already have a fully built PL or AGS that it's probably not worth it, but based on what i've seen / researched the argument is that Perf is better for longer fights cause you're getting more shots over a longer period of time but PL is better if you're nuking bosses fast. However again, I havn't tested that so im basing that off other videos that i've seen talking about it, so take it with a grain of salt, I personally am just sticking to my PL and don't plan to invest in the perforator.
MR just gives extra capacity for your mods, up to MR 20, After that you just get inventory slots. It doesn’t improve anything else. So performance improvement depends on what mods your using
the amount of investment needed to make a solo boss killer is a bit too low imo.. and no idea how they are going to sell her ultimate, when people invest in her now
They said they are going to add ways to carry over your investment from base to ultimate form but we arent sure what thats gonna look like yet or if they are actually gonna do it, and idk tbh well have to see future characters but yeah shes by far the best dps in the game, she doesnt even have her transcendent mods yet so thats gonna be interesting to see, but putting out a base descendant that does this much damage is kinda nutty. I do love her but she is 100% OP.
If they only release one new ultimate every season, then ultimate Hailey won't be out for over 2 years. In the long term, people will have the resources to not care about investing in both the base and ultimate version of newer descendants.
@@kaniggets Yeah exactly how I view it tbh, even if they released ultimate hailey in a couple months which i doubt they will cause they said in a dev stream that they wanted to get the other ultimates out first for everyone else, id still have 2 months to build up catalyst and stuff and by that point id have plenty to re invest again. Though they could technically release her way sooner because they know a lot of people would buy her. the ladies will always sell better than the dudes and thats a fact. Well have to wait and see

@@Cbgrapes.GamerSupps Its the two mods shown in the video, Expand weapon charge and then magazine compulsive, without the two mag shots you get 4 shots, after using both of them on the perf you get 7, another thing to note is if you perfect roll a 12% mag size on your gun and fully max the two mag size mods you can get a 8th shot, though its expensive af so thats up to you if you wanna go for it or not, probably not worth it unless you get super lucky
you can also use the void reactor to farm and it doesnt take your void fragments until you use the reconstructer device and it takes around 40s(for me)
I have like 3 other budget videos, but this is the first one where i didnt use anything on my weapon, usually i show that you just need a good gun to carry you and you can throw on 1-2 descendant mods and clear the content. But in this case Hailey is just really good at budget builds so i didnt have to upgrade the weapon either. I always look for fun budget builds to do though so if i figure out other methods ill upload some more vids
How do you say you don't have much survivability but you still don't get absolutely destroyed by the Bosses' attacks, especially Dead Bride's snow dome, if i take like and extra second to be able to get out I just get DELETED, an you took like 2 or 3 hits no issue. I have a lvl 40 descendant with max Def up, max HP up and max Spear and Shield lol Also, i have to empty like 6 mags of the tamer on the swamp walker legs to blow that shit up and you do it in like one. I don't fucking now, i'm doing something very wrong in this game. Even though I finished the campaign, I don't fully grasp all the game's mechanics. I'm struggling really hard with hard mode content, I feel so underpowered, zero damage, zero survivability, kinda don't know what to do anymore. It sucks having to depend on public lobbies all the time.
I really wanna beat this Gluttony but i swear the people i get matched with dont use the majority of their brain cells. They either bring no damage, no defenses or more often than not, none of the above. I just had to revive every member of my group at least twice. I'll never attempt this boss again unless i have a pre made team.
Pubbing gluttony runs are for sure rough, they are going to nerf him in a few weeks once death stalker comes out, a lot of people still dont know the mechanics so they just nuke him without cooling him off, i have found most success with valbys and yujins
Yup I've run it everyday for the last month with a maxed lepic and gley and no one can stay alive or they bring fn bunny! Like stop bringing bunny to gluttony what in the world lol! I'm 460 hours in still have yet to find a random group that even comes close to clearing it. They don't bring a cool down or a DPS character. I'm gonna start using valby I guess to at least cool down problem is if they don't DPS doesn't even matter they get to far away from the boss to have enough mp for cooldowns. Just no winning with randoms end game imo. just change the mechanics a little or let us go solo and scale it down.
Main reason we should have solo option for all bosses . The other day I was matched up for pyro and swamp walker , after that I went straight back to solo . Not dealing with that bs 🤣🤣🤣
The end game is just to have fun! Once you have everything eventually the only thing to do is new events and content as it's available so you can spend time with the not so meta characters and just have fun trying new stuff while stocking on e.a and c.c for later! Plus there's plenty of weapons to get max copies and work on. I'm 460 hours in and still am holding off getting the last 3 ult descendants doing weapons and anything else to not be at 100 percent because we could be a while for content

I get what you are saying though, I am going to switch over to Remnant 2 this coming Tuesday because I'm extremely excited for what they are bringing to the game and because I progressed through this game so fast I want to wait a long while and come back when there is as much to do as I've done so far so when I do come back I don't have to worry about running out of content for a good long while.
Yo thanks! without an activator you should be 59/60 if you have the same build setup, the reason were getting 60 capacity is because I have the grapple mod on thats giving me an extra 10 to slot in, the other 20 points from the activator aren't being used!
This is why she is stupid. Once you get characters like this, the game becomes boring and with very little reason to play. Colossus seem so weak. Now Freyna is broken too. Big mistakes by these developers

nah you can get 100% crit with 3 active if you have gold crit rate on your reactor, front lines and emergency measure maxed

Hailey is so damn good. Seriously she can do it all. Makes me look at all the descendants I built and not want to use them unless it's Bunny.

I get what you are saying though, I am going to switch over to Remnant 2 this coming Tuesday because I'm extremely excited for what they are bringing to the game and because I progressed through this game so fast I want to wait a long while and come back when there is as much to do as I've done so far so when I do come back I don't have to worry about running out of content for a good long while.

Yo thanks! without an activator you should be 59/60 if you have the same build setup, the reason were getting 60 capacity is because I have the grapple mod on thats giving me an extra 10 to slot in, the other 20 points from the activator aren't being used!
