i ran the cobb accessport stage 1 ots tune and it was fine for about 2 months. then my car stalled multiple times and would misfire on hard acceleration like crazy. removed the tune and the problem was solved. i wouldn’t run the ots tune if i were you, get your bolt ons and get a protune.
Already pro tuned by purple drank. Ran the Ots for many months with no issues. It varies from car to car and depends on your supporting mods. This vid is to inform the community so they’re aware of the risks and benefits
*- The Tune, or Electronic Program you up-Loaded, doesn't change over time. Something else like Plugs, Coils,* *or Carbon buildup on the tops of the Pistons caused your Tuning to go out of Spec.*

Do you think it was worth buying the access port and loading the stage 1 worth the $650? Also did you ever get a protune and if so what was the difference between a stage 1 vs a protune?
stage one won't be anymore likely to blow your engine then stock unless you're tracking and doing high heat runs consistently, and even then it's low probability, stage 2 is the one you actually need proper stuff for, stage 1 is kinda like a baseline tune to just bump power.

Once you tune it do you have to keep the device connected to the car ? Or can you load the tune, leave the device at home and go on about your business?
The speed limiter is turned off once you install stage 1 correctly. The guy in this vid contradicts himself at times, but you WILL feel a 20% gain in horsepower and near that in torque across the power band. The speed limiter is turned off!! Your top speed will be MUCH higher now.
You can run stage 1 just fine. You'll be ok without an intercooler for now but you might notice more heatsoak after you do a bunch of pulls. Let me know how it goes
Can you message me or comment, when you say get better spark plugs what should I get? I thought OEM plugs were always best also will I have to gap it for stage 1 intake, catch can only mods I got and Cobb. Or what is stock gap?
The stock gap is supposed to be .028. While the stock plugs may be adequate when the car comes off the lot it’s better to run a 1 step colder plug when you’re modding turbo cars. I run the NGK 6510. You can buy them from tune plus online pre gapped for the mustang. Super easy install. The car idles and runs way better on iridium plugs compared to the ones that come factory. If you buy it from tune plus you won’t have to gap them yourself. You’d benefit from that plug with the mods you have now

I felt the same way you did. If you're just doing stage 1 you'll be alright. Engines blow stock too it's just about the risk you wanna take. Do you have any other mods?

They can check but if you don't mention it it's unlikely they will. I had about 20,000 left on powertrain when I did it. The odds of your transmission failing are slim but if something happens there's always a work around

That’s why you need to read the gauges something else was wrong on ur car other wise you used eBay intake and cobb stage 1

If you use the right supporting mods you shouldn’t have issues but stock engines blow too. Get a good catch can, air filter, and an intercooler

You can load the tune, leave it at home and do your thing. I just leave mine plugged in to monitor the guages

Yeah for sure. You can run it with no mods but I'd recommend at least having a drop in air filter

I got a stage 1 JLT intake and bov would i be able to run 91 octang stage 1 for the cob or should I wait and get a inner-cooler?

If you’re concerned about the motor I’d stick with stage 1 but 2 won’t give you any issues since you have the mods needed for it
