How to install Simon 82 Concept on mechanisms Simon 75 | IGSA

Do you have mechanisms from the Simon 75 series and would you like to exchange them for others from the Simon 82 Concept? The good news is that you can do it without any problems, as both series are compatible. The best? The replacement is a very simple task that does not require work or changing the frame, which allows the previously installed mechanism to be reused.

Replacement of a white switch from the Simon 31 series with a titanium colored one from the Simon 82 Concept
Replacement of an ivory switch from the Simon 75 series with a white one from the Simon 82 Concept.
In addition, the mechanisms of the Simon 82 Concept series are compatible with those of the Simon 88 and Simon 82.
Basically, the 4 steps to follow are:
1) Unmount the current key
2) Remove the frame
3) Place the Concept frame
4) Assemble the Concept key
What tools are needed to proceed with this replacement? Luckily, you'll only need a flat-blade screwdriver, and its utility is simply to make a slight pry to disassemble the key and remove the frame. In contrast, frame placement and Concept key assembly require nothing but your hands as they are snap-on. What do you think about it?
