I just lost my trust yesterday when my instructor failed to show me how to do this, waste of my time and money, whereas there's someone like you who knows and does a great job, thank you my brother God bless you and your family
Draw full size in third angle projection a dimensioned front elevation and sectional end view of a 30 tooth spur gear, module 6, 20° pressure angle. Show three teeth on the front elevation drawn approximately and a table of gear data. The face width of the gear is 25 mm, rim diameter 158 mm, boss diameter 34 mm, reamed 24 mm diameter, boss length 50 mm. The boss is supported by four straight spokes of elliptical cross-section, the minor diameter being constant at 10mm and the major diameter tapering from 24 mm at the boss to 22 mm at the rim. Fillet radii 5 mm. The boss is symmetrical about the centre line in the end view. Show a revolved section of one spoke on the elevation Please help me with this question
Thanks a ton for the video. May God bless you abundantly. Please what's the difference between spur gear construction and involute spur gear construction ? Thank you ❤
HI! Thank you for the video, I suppose some of the measurements are wrong because when I drew the whole gear I came up with 33 teeth and not 24. Also, there was an error in the measurements because there wasn't enough space for the last tooth. Please let me know if you re-do the drawing.
You can't come up with 33 teeth because 24 teeth was given as part of the parameter. work with what you are given, and remember one of the reason of these video is to give you an insight and a better understanding on how to calculate and draw a gear teeth. Thank you

Glad this video was helpful
at 13:50 can i also use the divide by 1/3 in angle 14.5?
Can we draw it with full circle including full of teeth
No! Unless you are told to do so
Thank you so much
You are welcome
Why did you drawn a semi circle
I was told not to draw the complete teeth just 9 size

Please help me with this question
Can we use french curves for the fillets
No
The video was helpful
You are welcome
What if we were not given tooth thickness, how do we find that
Calculate for it
The video was very helpful.
Please can we also get videos on assembly drawing by M.A parker and f pickup 3rd edition. Thank you
Yes you can
Sir it was helpful but the point we're I was lost it that we are ask to make it 24 teeth but you only construct 6 gear ⚙️
Don't confuse size of teeth with number of teeth

Amen. You are welcome

Thanks sir
You are welcome
Sir can i draw a full circle for this and full teeth
You will be told
How do I solve it with out tooth thickness
You calculate for it
Sir my teacher does not gave us tooth thickness in the question so what should we do
Calculate for it
How
