All those anointed voices up there giving God praise, had me in tears! My family and I have enjoyed listening to Bill Gaither for over a decade or more.
Despite the many issues with the audio, this is a performance I can watch over and over again. I remember hearing "Because He Lives" in church when I was 4-5, LONG before I even heard Bill and Gloria Gaither's names. When you hear a song before hearing about the ones who wrote it, you know the writers did something phenomenal!

I HAD A DREAM ONE NIGHT THAT I WAS TALKING TO BOTH OF THEM…..& THEY STRAIGHTENED ME OUT ABOUT SOME THINGS, BUT SOME THINGS I WAS RIGHT ON……. I WISH I COULD HAVE THAT DREAM AGAIN…….. The greatest part of this is the end. Two people who have spent nearly 60 years writing music that has influenced multiple generations of musicians and they just humbly walk off the stage without any fanfare. A true Godly couple showing all the “super stars” of Christian music how to act as God wants to act in the moment. Humility and worship exemplified.
Generally speaking; it seems Southern Gospel Music, specifically Bill/Gloria Gaither music, still has the same solid gospel message as the old hymns. Sadly, today, much of Christian music is so watered down it’s hard to recognize biblical truths. Unfortunately, churches are headed in the same direction.
