Much love and respect to All of yall hard work and commitment and making the world's beautiful and strongest dependable rifles.. I fell in love with my 6.5-300 weatherby accumark.. I have the first addition bought mines in 2017 and everything I hunted and took with it?.. didn't take a step.. drop in they track...
I remember doing trail rides with my dad, uncles, and grandpa in the Black Hills. Getting a lot of those vibes from this video, bringing back lots of good memories. Now living in Alaska and exploring the interior I had to have the .338 RPM for my adventures. Can not wait for my custom Mark V to get here, my 338 will put down many caribou, moose, and bear.
You did it right putting a Leupold scope on the 338! Best scope out there for the price! I have owned Weatherbys for about 50 years now and have owned almost 100 in just about any model you ever made! Bought a 30-378 when it first came out in the accumark for my father and it was his favorite even thought he had many others over the years!
Would love Weatherby to build custom rifles with your choice of calibers. Always root for Americans. Owned Weatherby and always was very satisfied with quality and accuracy. Thanks
Congratulations Conner great hunt! Time spent in the field with our children is a successful hunt whether an animal is harvested or not! Congratulations on the new .338 rpm … looks like a great cartridge.
i purchased my first Weatherby last month i got the Vangaurd sporter in 30.06 springfield love the triger how light and crisp it is and smooth the bolt is i realy never looked into Weatherby cause i thought they where too expensive and that you only made you own cartridge but think this wont be my last one think im leaning twards the 338 rpm for my next big game gun
Great job Conner! Nothing better then bear hunting buddy. I got a 45-70 for my graduation present...I hope your cheap old man let you keep that rifle as your present 😜
Truly 338 is a sweet spot of diameter and weight. It's just a bit better bullet diameter than the 30. There's been exceptional 338s already out there like 338 Federal, 338-06, 338RCM, 338win mag. These are excellent and I hope you market your new 338RPM well and support it and not allow it to wither like Ruger did with its excellent 338RCM.
That's a beautiful bear. I saw that Weatherby was working on a new 338. I've been looking for a belt less 338 about equal to the 338 WM without going overbore. It's looking like a 330 Dakota or 338 wildcat off of the 375 Ruger.
Great video. I’m taking my youngest on his first Antelope, mule deer and elk hunt this year. He really wants to shoot my 6.5-300 cowpoke. I have to admit that I’m very excited.
I love the .338 caliber! I have a Washington state black bear record for archery nailed him elk hunting, and if he wasn't a moose I wouldn't of wasted my time because I had bulls bugling all around me! Why I always buy my bear and cougar tags!!!
As an expat californian, I just want to say congratulations to weatherby for finally moving out of that communist state! Until all businesses finally realize that the state hates you and decide to move, you will never do anything to help the state or yourselves. This state must collapse before people will realize that communism doesn't work
The Weatherby family tradition. The youngest Weatherby's are the first in the world to take an animal with a new cartridge. Awesome!
What a great experience to have!
When Weatherby was still in South Gate CA I was at the show room to pay off a gun and I hand the pleasure to say hi to Edd weatherby.
Great job guys!! I don’t have the 338rpm yet, but I will definitely get one!!👏👏
Congratulations Conner
Adam you are 100% right in saying time spent in the field with your son/son's there is nothing better than that .
I hope to get a Backcountry 2.0 in 338 WBY RPM one day
Congratulations Connor👍
Thank you for sharing that adventure with us. Look forward to making the same memories with my children.

I can’t wait to put my hands on that 338 rpm! Congratulations on a beautiful bear and a awesome video.
Great shot. That 338 rpm took that bear down quick. I agree, absolutely love taking my kids hunting.
That shot looked like it hit the spine just forward of the hips. Not a great shot at all.

As luck would have it Conner probably saved that bear from a less than humane death.

Awesome hunt! Can't wait to do that with my boys
Nice hunt and a nice video. I have not any Weatherby rifles but I know both rifles and ammo works well !+)

8,5x55 Blaser and 8,5x63 Reb, too.
A sweet spot? Lol. Maybe if you shoot 200 yds and in
.340 Win Mag.
That's a beautiful bear.

Would love to put it to the test. I’m digging the non belted case, and standard .473 head.
Great video.

Sweet
what do they load those rounds with TNT?
Adam? Can you guys load the 257 load that used to go 3800 fps.
Great video, great rifles, PLEASE lose the screaming music, you spend the first part of the video trying to turn down the noise...
Light-weight, or is it the "Standard" action designation from long ago???
It is our 6 lug standard action however since 2020 we have started to machine them in titanium as well as steel.
@@weatherby cool beans. I remember the prototype in titanium that Ed and Dean showed me. Ah the memories.
Surprise everyone and design an 8mm RPM.
I really love hunting. My friend Eric doesn't. PLZ DOX HIM. He lives on 2 Balsam Drive.
And just like that, their off to an Ivy League school.

Next should be a .257 rpm
Or maybe the 460 RPM.
