Great video and demo. I had this pedal when it first came out. This is really good for a guitar or bass player looking for more mass and girth in their tone. So i ran this pedal into an Ampeg cranked, then i had a second amp in stereo set up for more lower gain iommi style. The sound was magic. I changed out my rig to a smaller setup and i dont play shows anymore so the Spellbook was retired. Highly recommended for someone looking for that fat assed wall of doom.
the intro jam (with what sounds like a "AC" recording) was nice and spooky very nice loved that. But yeah this pedal would be best with a moog or something like that really thicken up a pulsing drone sound nice I bet.
Lost my phone, just catching up on your vids bro, it's an interesting pedal for sure but I'm starting to learn not to buy this kind of effect, totally wasted on me to be fair but your better with this kinda madness 😂
@@TheDistortionPrinciple You got rid of it yet? How's the amp search coming along? Got the money together for one of those Green Hulks yet or have you changed your mind?
@@deathmetalmadness4642 i was only borrowing the pedal from the builder. Im possibly not getting a green next. Maybe a 5150 first and another woodrite then the green amp
Yep...good to see both hands

With the oscillator, I get a Van Halen vibe. This would be awesome if you didn’t have the synth for the first part of the song.
The synth was the pedal. Just wanted to show a little of its synth ability. It's got a lot going on in that little box for sure
@@TheDistortionPrinciple definitely!
bit weird for me but fun video
