Mr and Mrs Canuck. Intl Cafe was one of our favourite places to get coffees, teas after our excursions or late night snack and watch entertainment or to just relax. Nice to see the area has not changed.
It was nice seeing the Canadian flag flying above the Sanctuary pool. Ooowwwee, Zuiderdam was in port with you - great to get a glimpse of her, we embark next Saturday! Voting the hull is navy. It was fun walking around Charlottetown with you, brings back a lot of memories. We rented a house a block from the port, and we loved walking down to see the cruise ships come and go. Jill's Crown Grill dinner all looked fantastic, would have been my choices too. The health issue is concerning, hope you both stayed well. Did you buy the little bone for Bruno? Cheers from London, Ontario
When my cruise ship (Holland America's Eurodam) stopped in Charlottetown, we went to visIt Province House and St Dunstan's Basilica. I had my first Cow's ice cream and my first lobster roll in Charlottetown. Thanks for the memories!
A hot tub in the cool air - the best! By the way, the Zui in Zuiderdam sounds more like "zy" than "zoo." (The ui is actually a Dutch diphthong we don't have in English, but if you think apple "cider-"dam you'll be close.)
We agree with you. It’s great when the ship is in port at smaller ports. We enjoy getting off and checking things out and seeing where the day takes you.
I'm trying to decide which cruise line to do next between Princess and Holland America. I found cruises on both with identical itineraries (Bahamas, Amer Cove, Grand Turk) at the end of next year. The embarkation ports are different.
Question - are there any veggies in the Crown grill? You don’t often order them? Answer - Holland America please, especially a vista ship. Ugh, despise coughers and always make a run from them.
We had a wonderful time on the Emerald however we feel that for a cooler weather cruise we would try a different ship because the inside of the ship felt very crowded throughout our voyage. We would not hesitate to sail her if cruising in the Caribbean. We loved the Steamers and Planks option that was onboard and the GastroPub.
QUESTION My bucket list item is to have mussels in PEI. Does anyone have recommendations for this? We sail on Princess, same itinerary, next year! Childhood memories of Anne of Green Cables still with me. ❤ I am very much looking forward to this port ❤

We love the International Cafe. 😊We ate breakfast there very often.
Loved the chia pudding from the international cafe.
The hydrangeas! 😍 I do love the aesthetic of HAL.
They are so pretty!
I’m with you, Jerry-Riesling.
WOW Mrs Canuck, the blue dress really suits your complexion ❤
Thank you 😊

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Charlottetown!
I see Mr Canuck kept his pants on for this video wrap up 😂.. sorry Mr Canuck, I couldn't resist 🤷🏼😁😆💙
🤣Thankfully yes.
The hull looks dark blue. Darker than Navy…
Very dark indeed.

Thanks, that was very helpful.
I do enjoy Charlottetown...so did my mom and dad...just not quite the same without them. Keep up the great exploration!!
It is such a beautiful town and we love it there as well.
Thanks for the vlog, the small ports where you can walk and absorb at your leisure are great. Agree with others, that ship hull is navy blue😃

YES!! You HAVE to get that toy for Bruno 🐾💙😊
It was a very cute dog toy.🦴
Holland ships are navy Mr. Canuck 😊 Beautiful
Thanks 😊

We often debate back and forth between the two because we love them both. Usually the deciding factor for us is which one is more affordable.
HAL ships are ink blue which is a bit darker than navy blue.
Oh interesting. Thanks 😊
HAL gets my vote! I agree that the hull is navy.
Thanks
The way your app was working you just might get a knock on your house front door with a bartender delivering your drink. 😂😂😂
🤣 We wish! It was very comical. At one point we had the app tells us that 78 drinks were on their way!
@ 😲🤣🤣🤣
I think the HAL ships are navy 🎉
😊 Agree!
Not all cruisers on Viking are "rich folk", fewer cruises and it's available to all. But they are stunning!
It was tongue in cheek and may be available for all, but for those with more money than we have for a single cruise.
Navy!
Thanks

There area few options for veggies on the side like mushrooms and asparagus.
Great video! We are looking at a cruise on the Emerald princess and was wondering what your thoughts were knowing that you were on her twice? ❤
We had a wonderful time on the Emerald however we feel that for a cooler weather cruise we would try a different ship because the inside of the ship felt very crowded throughout our voyage. They don't call HAL "blue hulled beauties" for nothing 😂
😊
Chocolate covered potato chips ,wow dont think we can get them here in UK
They are so good!😊
It’s navy. I don’t think the Shipp can use Black.
Thanks
Navy 100%
Thank you! Maybe he will believe you.😊
Navy
😂😂
Thanks
Oops. Premature reveal.
🤣Correct!
Navy
Thanks 😊
Many people wearing masks onboard?
I wouldn’t say many. I would say a few more than what we have seen lately on other cruises.

Water prince corner shop within walking distance to the port. Great seafood restaurant.
Yes, the Water Prince Corner Shop is an excellent little restaurant. Highly recommend!
That’s wonderful. There was a gentleman shucking mussels right on the pier when we were there for people to try. Sure you will have a wonderful time.
