We do tend to avoid the crowds a s much as possible. We found it to be particularly challenging on the Emerald. It felt extremely crowd in the Piazza and Crooners all day and night.
Thankyou for the vlogs it’s interesting having various nationalities helps the dining arrangements North Americans tend to eat earlier U.K. middle and South Americans and some Europeans later
I'm glad you enjoyed walking around St. John; I would concur that the reversing falls is a non-event at low tide. We still use our souvenir woven placemats which we picked up at a St. John market stall a few years ago, so your foray brought back recent memories. Thanks for sharing. As we're going on the Sun Princess next fall on the Plus Package, I was hoping the premium desserts would be something like gourmet cheesecake, not sickly sweet over the top ice cream sundaes.
It is a shame that the reversing falls isn't at its best at low tide, but glad we could bring back some memories. Those desserts are a little more about show than taste.
With the exception of the reversing falls, I think we strolled the same path that you did! There were no shopping containers when we were there... I recall a large tent. FYI - James says Sean Connery is the best Bond. I say it's Roger Moore!
Which premium dessert was that, the Dolce Vita? I am keto diet pretty much 24/7 but am taking the Coral P. in a couple months and the Donatello one is for sure going to make me get off track 😂😂
Have I been pronouncing poutine wrong all these years? 🤦♀️ I’ve always said “pouteen” but I’ve been hearing Mr. Canuck say “poutin”. 🤷♀️ Either way, we love it!!
Oh my goodness, the cinnamon roll looks good 😊 My mouth is watering 🤤
The cinnamon rolls are so good, especially when they’re warm.
@ oh absolutely
My dad grew up around there and he always enjoyed getting there once every few years just to wander and see how things have changed.
Very nice.
I'm a sucker for Good Canadian Poutine and that soup is drool worthy.
Another great video, thanks. You two are good at avoiding the crowds on the ship. It never looks crowded in your video.

The tide is pretty spectacular to watch. There’s also a ride, that makes use of the tides on the river in NB.
That sounds fun!
I feel the same way about magic shows, not my thing. Lol

Very good point. We tend to like to eat early and then have the evening to enjoy the ship in the nigh. We know may prefer to eat much later than us.
I think the reversing falls rapids look very interesting!
It’s all water under a bridge now. We got our steps in that day.
I had my first beavertail in St John. I remember loving it!
We’re glad you tried them! Delish!
My first beaver tail, was on the Halifax waterfront. Very good, it was.
I look forward to all of your vlogs!
Thanks! ❤️
Saint John looks like a beautiful city! Thanks for sharing.
We had a great time exploring there!
I grew up in Saint John! Thankyou for the Beautiful video!
It is a beautiful city!
Challenge: Mr and Mrs Canuck participating in love and marriage. If there's ever a clean enough version that is lol
Not sure that either of us would have enough nerve to put ourselves through that! It is always fun to watch though.
Hi Jill, I agree with you… magic shows aren’t for me either. And also some comedians…. Don’t care for the ones that are mean or insulting

I would agree (7:20), not the greatest tourists trap.walk the town instead.
SEAN CONNERY!!!
Mr Canuck agrees!
Dr No was the first movie
And it is great!

Mr Canuck wishes all the Bond movies were Sean Connery. Ya those containers looked new - especially compared to the surrounding area.
Which premium dessert was that, the Dolce Vita? I am keto diet pretty much 24/7 but am taking the Coral P. in a couple months and the Donatello one is for sure going to make me get off track 😂😂
We can’t remember the name - it was the one at the top of the menu.
Magic Shows 🥴
Take care 😴
Have I been pronouncing poutine wrong all these years? 🤦♀️ I’ve always said “pouteen” but I’ve been hearing Mr. Canuck say “poutin”. 🤷♀️
Either way, we love it!!
It's a regional thing - both ways are correct!
I wanted to know the end of the joke ..... what did the man say to the urologist?
LOL. That’s all we recorded! We don’t remember the punchline. She was a very funny lady.
I don’t like magic shows either, or acrobatics.
I feel the same way.
Both make me feel tense which isn’t how I want to feel while on vacation.
I dislike magic shows too, boring;)
