How To Make Chili | Homemade Chili Recipe

- Ingredients used in this video:
3.5 lb ground beef
Bacon
1 16oz can Kidney Beans
1 16oz can Black Beans
1 16 oz can Pinto Beans
2 28oz can crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 small onion
1 medium green bell pepper
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp Granulated beef bouillon
Season salt
Paprika
Cayenne pepper
Black pepper
Granulated garlic
Granulated onion
Cumin
Chili powder
Parsley
Water as needed for desired consistency
Instructions:
1. Fry bacon until crispy and remove (reserve grease) [Bacon grease optional (I used to enhance flavor to dish). Olive oil or vegetable oil can be used instead].
2. Add ground beef, season to taste, and cook until brown and remove. Reserve 1 tbsp of the grease (remove excess grease).
3. Use grease from bacon/ground beef (1 tbsp each should be enough) to sauté the onions, peppers and minced garlic. Then add 1 tbsp granulated bouillon and continue to sauté until well combined.
4. Add crushed tomatoes, beans and tomato paste and stir to combine (season to taste).
5. Add cooked ground beef, brown sugar and stir until well combined.
6. Let simmer on medium low heat for about 20-25 mins or until desired consistency and thickness. (Keep in mind, canned beans are precooked and just need to be heated through until warm).
