- Hiatus August 18th 2021. Hello everyone,
As you have probably noticed the videos have not quite picked up again after our hiatus in the spring and summer of 2021. Our life situations are all changing a lot right now, and we all feel that we need and want to put our energy towards other projects than youtube at the moment. We have new jobs, new studies and new homes, and are all in some way transitioning to new stages in our lives where we have not been able to fit in creating videos so far.
So we want to be honest with you - this is goodbye for now. Maybe our paths will connect again in the future, either here on the Mischief Managers channel, or elsewhere. We doubt we will stop making videos completely, so there might be CMVs in the future, and convention videos and panels when we are able to visit cons again, but we cannot guarantee consistent uploads from now on. There will not be any weekly or even monthly uploads in the near future.
Starting now, we will no longer have a P.O. box address, and our patreon page will be discontinued as well. The etsy shop will stay up until all pins have been sold, the Ko-fi page is still up but has no active goal, and our teespring store will remain open for those who want to buy Mischief Merch.
Thank you for this time, dearest mischief makers. Creating a space for all of you in the Harry Potter fandom has been an absolute blast and a source of so much joy over the past seven years. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the creative inspiration, for your earnest messages, for sharing your personal stories and for your enthusiastic support.
You are all wonderful people and we are so proud to have created stories that connected with you. Know this - we will always be here cheering you on.

I’m going to miss the Mischief Managers posting ngl. But I’m happy they’re getting their life’s together- more or less- but I had such a fun time watching them for the past year or two, I accidentally clicked on one of their videos once but I’m happy I did. Mischief Managed, for now at least until we “see” each other again. Thank you for everything you guys have done 💜

I'm a new fan, I discovered your channel right when you guys posted the goodbye post. I've watched most of your videos and I'm just hoping this comment will be read because (if you couldn't tell already) I absolutely love your cosplays and want to express that to you guys. I may not be allowed to subscribe because I'm not on my main account at this moment, but I still hope you'll take my words to heart ^^
I don't exactly remember when I found your channel, but it was around the time I entered my Potterhead phase again. It was on one of my worse days, where I wanted to do nothing but lie down on my bed (and watch Harry Potter videos). I remember getting onto bed with my phone and opening UA-cam, and to my surprise I found your video "Never Have I Ever" (It was the video with Ron, Hermione, Harry and Draco cosplays). Out of curiosity, I clicked it, and literally fell in love with you guys. Since then, I've watched at least 90% of your videos, and I absolutely loved them! Some I watch on repeat every day. Of course I was sad when I found your post about a temporary goodbye, but I'm still glad such a wonderful channel existed and I completely understand the toughness of going through some big life changes (so it's understandable if you guys need some time to adjust things).
I just really really love you guys and wanted to drop in, say "Hi" and tell you how much I appreciate you guys for being here. You bought me through that bad day, and I'm sure you'll continue bringing me through bad days.

I just met you early quarantine and seeing the word hiatus broken my heart for a little bit, I feel like I still haven't really knowing more about you. Your videos are one of the most reason I'm being sane while adapting to the hard life of online classes and work but I really understand how life could changing so much and makes us to do some sacrifices and re-sorting our priorities. Hopefully, very very hopefully we can meet again in the future. I think it will be one of the best day in my life. Good to know that you can have a tasty time in Japan as a vegan. When I first went there, I was not vegan (not even vegetarian), and I want to go back, too, but I feared there would be not so much to eat ...
I still have not watched most of the baking videos yet, so I have something to do in the meantime ;-). Please take your time. Having one video a week (your old schedule if I am not mistaken) of this quality is insane in the first place, so if you decide to come back, do it as it suits you best, even if it's super irregular or rare. I think people will understand. The best to all of you!

I have to add this.... so 24°C is the exact temperature that I had today as well......however for us South Africans, it's still kinda cold 🥶, like still in hoodies, jeans and boots kind of 🥶 It really amazes me how our bodies can adapt to the climates that we live in, where for me 24° C is cold but for The Mischief Managers 24°C is warm/hot for them😱

Saft is squash or cordial in UK English.
Concentrated fruit drink that you mix with water is squash, cordial, but often called juice.
Fruit drink sold already mixed is juice drink (must contain some fruit juice plus other stuff) or fruit flavoured drink
Juice from concentrate is pure juice that has diluted with only water in the factory.
Not from concentrate juice is pure undiluted fruit juice.
Lemonade can be sprite or 7 up or cloudy yellow and more lemony "cloudy lemonade" similar to icy lemon fanta or homemade lemonade which is made of lemons and water and sugar and not fuzzy.
