We loved living there back in 2000 but just all holiday homes now. Our lovely New Zealand Hunterway Sophie would run that beach every day. Her ashes are scattered in the dunes. The place she loved best.
moved to North Devon 17yrs ago not that far from Croyde but still only been once, stunning drone footage might have to pay another visit with mine now i'm close to retirement.

Hi Trippy, that was a beautiful overlook of Croyde Bay, the water looked stunning.
Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
We picked a great day for it, it was roasting all day lol
@@TrippingCornwall lol, I hope you didn't get too burnt, that sun is no joke. xx
Wonderful views of Downend House which used to belong to Mrs Killard-Levy. We stayed there 1st week of June between 1989 and 2002!!
Do you mind me asking who she was? I know she was a figure name in the community but I’ve never found out who or what she did? Thanks!
Going there 1st July parkdean site, can't wait 👍
Thanks for this video. Just made me book a holiday 👍👍
Absolutely stunning place to live and visit
AWESOME.....THANKS FOR THE REMINDER😊
I spent every weekend as a kid beaching on the rocky end (down end ). Glad you like the area. ( came from reddit )
Sounds like a great area to grow up, I was lucky in Cornwall as we had 2-3 beaches nearby to enjoy. Devon is slowly converting me though lol
@@TrippingCornwall yeah its not bad, getting anywhere central is a pain though as you well know being further down the leg 😀
@@TrippingCornwall Did you ever see Mrs Killard-Levey who owned Downend House and beach?
