Please do a review of this vacuum once again after 6 and 12 months. I’m curious how it will look like after that period. Does it manage with obstacles better than 360 Eye? What about carpet fringes or Ikea chair legs? Will it stuck or get itself free like Roomba do?
So how low does the brush bar sit on the floor? Are the bristles touching the floor on hardwood? Most robots have a bouncing brush bar so the bar is touching the floor on all floor types, but this one doesn’t. Thanks!
I really wanted one of these however after watching your reviews and reading the John Lewis reviews of this I think I will wait for the next generation. Thank you
Good initial video and follow up - keep up the good work! Question - has there been a firmware/software fix for the zoning, i.e. moving from carpet to tiles? Also, can you move it upstairs as well without losing downstairs configuration? VERY concerned about it tumbling down the stairs! Thanks.
Thanks. So there has been an update, which ours is now updated, but to be honest, not even approached retesting it. It was so awful that havent had the heart to go back and redo it all lol, maybe will do an update video on this I guess! Re stairs, 2 part question; 1 think for sure is that it wont tumble down the stairs. We have put it up there many times (and with the old version as well) - zero issues. Very smart in that regard. Part 2 of the question tied into mapping, I am really not sure on that one, as not sure how it would know the difference between above and below scenario? I would guess it would almost like be mapping over its-self if you see what I mean as its 2D.
did the heurist learn anyhing? it got 10 GB of memory and dyson says it optimizes his working path over time when it learns your flat and furnitures. 👀
does't this also allow no-go zones to be defined on the map? That'd be a big advantage over the 360 Eye. I asked Dyson when it'd be available over here and they said they have no plans to release it in the UK.
Furniture is fine, doesn’t damage it. Had these for almost 4 years, they do a top job day in day out. This new one is not enough of a jump in features though sadly to make it worth it.

Best thing for the old and new version is a big open field, tin of petrol, and a box of matches,
Ha ha
Very useful review(s). Thanks for your honesty.
No problem, hope it helped!

Sits on the floor the entire time :)
Great follow up! I’m wondering why the 360 eye has been out of stock (in the uk) on Dyson’s official website for a few months now! 🤔
I think they will bring this one in soon. As long as its the same price then no problem...if they charge a premium then not good!

Good choice!
Real Life Gadget Reviews Thank you. Are you going to do a 6 month review now you’ve had it a while or is there no further update from this review?
Don't get a Dyson robovac. Worst product ever! Get yourself an Ecovacs Deebot N8 or T8

Thanks, very helpful.
can you use this in different floors? Will it be possible to map 2 floors and then manually take it upstairs to keep cleaning?
yes that is possible!

Yeah it SHOULD do, but seems very unreliable.
So if the vacuum is all scratched up, just what is doing to your furniture !!!!
