When do you think we will get a Nintendo Direct with Nintendo's own franchises and games?

It's almost certain to happen by June 26th and it will contain most of the holiday lineup for Nintendo. But it also might be the last true Direct of the Switch era. September might be another mini/partner and it'll probably be March of 2025 when things start picking up again for Nintendo.
May or June is my guess.

Please move on to non-Nintendo content. Too many videos about directs that won’t happen and info that does not come to fruition. You’ve had a rough few months so I say this in support of your channel to have higher quality content.
Agree. A lot of the Nintendo tubers don't have anything to report so they continue to push speculation and rumors. It's cuz everybody's trying to be full-time UA-camrs and they want to keep that ad revenue coming in so they have to keep putting question marks on their videos and pushing speculation and all the other stuff. And everybody does it now. This started with people like lax Chris and then blocked content. But all these guys would do is read a rumor off of Reddit or some other internet thread that was not true at all and then they keep feeding that beast. And I love that when you have somebody who is a " leaker " and may have gotten one or two things right in the past everybody's like oh they got a perfect record they got a perfect record. We have a majority of these guys have now resorted to clickbait. I had to get out of this hole ecosystem because it's just terrible.
Ive said it before and I'll say it again i do feel bad for the Zelda youtubers when there is no content their content becomes dogshit ie this video. how many Nintendo direct nonsense videos has this guy made in the last 2 months.

Maybe just don't expect anything? Every single time a direct happens everyone is complaining. Go in without any expectations and you'll never be disappointed 👍
You can still be disappointed if you go in with no expectations. I did that with the Indie Direct and was still disappointed lol.
It's still disappointing regardless of if your anticipating it or not.
Aside from Zelda TotK's title reveal which I got at the time, I wasn't really expecting anything else during the direct back then and was still disappointed by the sheer amount of farming simulators there were in the direct

I'm really hoping for a full remastered Metroid Prime trilogy. MP2 is my favorite Metroid game of all time and MP3 has the best boss fights in the series, they both deserve the treatment. But MP3 would need some serious re-working, honestly the rumor of a simple HD port of MP2 & MP3 as a dual pack seems very likely. Nintendo needs Metroid Prime 4 to be their showcase game for the new console, just like BOTW was for the Switch, even if it is a dual-system launch. If the base Switch can make MP1 look good, it should be able to run MP4 pretty well. Dread had a relatively successful launch with the OLED so I think Nintendo would be comfortable launching Prime 4 with the Switch successor.
Metroid prime 2 and 3 remaster or atleast a HD port the Metroid prime trilogy is my favorite trilogy of all time!! I still ave my Wii version i replay every year to bad prime remaster doesn't ave the fusion suit . As for Zelda i dont like botw totk the to complicated one so any remaster of the traditional Zelda i will enjoy . oH and a Xenoblade x port the only wii U game not ported to Switch yet
Oh and Metroid Zero mission FINALLY ported to switch online stop with the random games and focus on your main IP instead! The original SNES mario rpg now that we got a remake
I dont like traditional Fire emblem but i ave 900 hours into three hope so a engage warrior spinof woud be awsome
I personally don't have much faith in the Metroid franchise left, neither Dread nor the Prime Remaster sold anywere bear as much as I hoped, even if Prime 4 sells Tears of the Kingdom level sales, Metroid is as good as dead in my eyes.

Animal Crossing New Leaf HD makes about as much sense as dropping a remake of Smash Melee on the Switch. It's asinine.

When has Nintendo ever released two versions of a game on two systems where the new system version looked massively better? Never. Cause that makes no sense to do.
Breath of the wild was released on both the Switch and Wii U
@@JimJimJim2558 You didn't read my statement.....both the Wii U and Switch versions were the SAME. The Switch version had SLIGHTLY better load times but was no visually better. My point is no dual release is vastly better on the new system. Prime 4 wouldn't be some 4K release lol.
@@ItApproachescause Nintendo told the devs to make the games the exact same so that none of the versions would leave players feeling they bought an inferior version when purchased on Wii U

I'm surprised you didn't bring up the prospect of a new Smash game. Not like I'm actually in desperate need for a new Smash game; I can DEFINITELY wait.
Smash can go extinct for 15 years and join Star Fox and F-Zero and such, and we can bring the other franchises back off the shelf. I got so damn sick of Smash, Ultimate was just the ultimate disappointment and was just shoved down our throats every few months. I never want to see Smash again, unless it's going back to it's roots, a NINTENDO beat em up, not a playable advertisement with characters who don't belong. Drop it down to 30 characters, make the story mode good, and focus on really improving each characters fighting style.
I suspect Smash is going to get the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe treatment. We'll get a Switch 2 port of Ultimate with even MORE characters and coast on that for the generation and Smash 6 won't happen until Switch 3 or whatever's next after Switch 2.

I was thinking that the Direct could happen next week or the week after that. And I'm still hoping to see Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch in Spring or Summer this year.
I personally don't have any faith left in the Metroid series at all, neither Metroid Dread and the Prime 1 Remaster sold anywhere near as much as I hoped, unless Prime 4 reaches Tears of the Kingdom level sales Metroid is likely to remain a niche franchise forever.

Ya I don’t have to much faith Nintendo will bring it this year. There agenda seems random and very different than pre Covid. I mean no talk of Metroid prime for over 5 years? As a publisher you should be promoting your games and make money and markets etc. there playing there cards close and some of there statements in the past year are very Disney like. I believe there needs to be more pressure on Nintendo so I was happy when pal world put them on the spot for example- in the hopes of higher quality at the least for Pokémon fans. Peace.

I'm kind of against a new Mario Party game mainly because the Switch already has enough of those games already on it's system. Plus it would be better to save a new Mario party game for the next new console instead releasing a brand new one near the end of the Switch's lifespan.

We're not getting any more first party releases for Switch. Not going to happen.
These games are planned three and five years ahead. Yeah, even remakes.
This hardware issue that pushed back the release date was one-year sudden at most.
Not three years, not five. 2024 is going to be a dead year for first-party games.
I mean, the 3DS had smaller 1st party titles when the Switch was recently dropping so...
@@ShiningStar5022 I don't remember that, but I'm not saying it didn't happen. Let me back off a little; I think the switch won't get anything first party until the Switch2 launches. Why? Cross-console releases. (Like BotW and LoZTP launched). I also theorize that Silksong will release physical on Switch2 at launch to boost its sales and reputation.
@@staretimecomics Yeah, many big titles won’t drop until the Switch 2 drops, HOWEVER, let’s not rule out smaller titles like remakes or a new Mario Party.

Performance. Look at mortal kombat on switch, it was a slap in the face. There are some great 3rd party games like Stardew and Octopath, but most of them are awful
