I went a week with an Audi q3, while my Rivian was in for service. It was horrible, I seriously missed the 1 pedal operation, the instant torque. It's really, really hard to go back once you go electric.

I agree with you. I forgot to mention the 1 pedal driving I do.

My wife bought a Mustang Mach E GT and we love it…what a great car! We charge it with our solar electric.

Love hearing this. I wanted the GT Model but at the time of my purchase, it was lot more than what it is now. The prices have come down now.

One thing I don't get is why so many cars are trying to be super fast anymore. Slower cars can get along just fine. I daily drive several cars, V6 Nissan Frontier, V8 Cadillac Deville, i4 hybrid Ford Maverick, and an i3 Mitsubishi Mirage. I prefer the Mitsubishi out of them. It is the least powerful, having 78 HP, a 0-60 of about 14 seconds, but never has been an issue. I don't feel any better in the Cadillac, if anything less comfortable, as if I need to floor it, the Cadillac moves super fast in a small amount of time and end up going faster than expected.

A base model Dodge Charger is pretty quiet. If you found the 3.6 Pentastar loud, please avoid the gas guzzling Hemis😂

Good to note. My stepfather has a 68 Shelby Mustang that I love to drive. And I love the way that sounds. I've just been used to an EV for the past 18 months which is such a quite ride.

You should change the title of this vehicle to an expensive car vs an inexpensive car. Everything except using gas and the instant torque is available in gas cars as well and gave nothing to do with gas vs ev.

So you can't drive but enjoy to be policed. What you need is an Uber app.

There's no gas in a diesel vehicle either. The accelerator is a good word for it

Doesn't sound really like the EV was the thing you liked, you just liked the features. Nearly every feature the EV has there are combustion cars that have it too. Really the main changes for EVs are just instant torque, ability to charge at home at the cost of reduced range, and they tend to be heavier (though that's barely relevant).
A great example is every single Toyota this year has lane tracing on highways and it doesn't even cost anything. It's not a one time purchase or subscription, it's just on every single Toyota. There are plenty of cars with blind spot sensors and the blind spot cameras came to Hyundai's ICE long before EVs. Nearly every top spec car now has the 360 camera for parking with even my sister's mid spec Camry.
Really the only thing I seem to only see on EVs right now is the full glass roofing. Though at the same time none of those actually open like normal sun roofs do. In general though it really sounds more like you're impressed with the flashy tech rather than the actual dynamics. Of course you'll find ICE vehicles with next to no features, but so were the early Nissan Leaf's and Bolts. Hell Tesla only recently added blind spot cameras to the software.

I'd bet my ass he didn't have enough money to get a tesla, so he had to get a knockoff.

Why have a car just let someone drive you around! I don’t want to be on a road with another driver that is too lazy to drive!

Pony Tail, the nasal voice is unbearable. Unwatchable.
If your EV was better quality, not so much damage.
    So, basically, you can't drive.
