Hey, Paul! You'll get there. One thing that may not be obvious is that a lot of my hunters call me frequently. I recognize their "fist" and style right off the bat and can sometimes guess the callsign before they finish sending it. That will happen for you, too. Also, I heard about RufzXP via CWops a couple years back. It's a great software tool to practice decoding callsigns. The program automatically adjusts to your speed as you decode. It helps with just a bit of time using it each day. Bottom line... time and practice are the two key elements for improving CW proficiency. If you just started in August, I'd say you're doing exceptionally well!! I started 49 years ago! 🙂 73
