Saludos. Me gusto mucho encontrar su video ya que estoy tratando de entender porque se daño mi shield RS232-TTL que usaba con Arduino. Estoy tratando de hacer un circuito y en una de las pruebas , coloque un puente del lado RS232: ósea el pin14 con el pin 13. Mi idea era ver si lo que entraba por el pin Tx TTL , salía por el pin Rx TTL. Observe que el integrado se calentó mucho, mientras ingresaban los datos y creo se daño la interface. Usted me puede ayudar con esa duda por favor.

Hola muchas gracias por comentar, creo que has planteado mal la pregunta puesto que Rx es recepción, no salida, al igual que Tx es salida y no enterada, quizá en eso consistió tu error, en un enlace de datos la conexión debe ser cruzada, es decir que la fuente de los datos (Tx) debe conectarse con Rx de la interfase y viceversa. Igual a mi nunca me gusta hacer puentes directos, yo siempre utilizo resistencias limitadoras. Un abrazo
