Ahyeon is the one doing the adlibs in the background for Like That! Also Forever! She could be easily a main vocalist in this group. Her rap and dance and stage presence are also amazing. She is really talented! My girl!
YG has not yet released the official positions, but it is almost certain that Ruka is the main dancer, Rami is the main vocalist and Asa is the main rapper.
and yes, you can watch her solos without any problems. Speaking of solos, today an episode of Lee Mujin Service with Rami came out, I recommend a future video, it's a long video and I don't know if there's any problem watching it, but it would be interesting for you to hear more of her vocals.
(ugh this is long i apologize) I mentioned some of this in my comment on the last video but no they dont have official positions. There are some who are clearly stronger in certain areas, but YG most likely wont assign them positions bc it limits them. As of right now, Asa’s generally considered the ace since she’s already received writing/composing credits (therefore nicknamed Acesa) and Ahyeon is golden all-rounder, Rami is increasingly known as the secret gem (I think thats the term), but Chiquita is learning to rap, Rora and Pharita have shown rap potential, Pharita’s dancing has improved, and Ruka has pretty vocals as well (there was a tiny bit in Stuck in the Middle and then also the LastEval performance of DKWTD); and theres no official visual bc all are stunning. Rami also said in the Lee Mujin that they were all considered the ace trainees, and in the individual introductions/Last Evaluation they essentially said that as well. In some groups where there’s assigned positions, then other members dont necessarily explore that side of them, and even if they do, it doesn’t always appear in the music, but that doesn’t seem like its going to be an issue here. Similarly, they dont have a leader, but each girl steps up when necessary (particularly with Rami/Ahyeon with vocal, Asa with rap, Ruka with dance, Pharita/Rora with speaking, etc etc), which is also a good thing. It keeps them balanced as a whole, and each girl is able to contribute and help adjust their performance as necessary. In behind the scene videos for their MVs or performances, you see the girls checking the monitor or footage and discussing amongst themselves about how to improve, and then carrying it out. Without having rigid positions or a specific leader, they are each able to collaborate and contribute even more, and are able to continuously improve in every area. YG believes they can do it all , fully believes in their monstrous talent, and thats what he’s trying to do here. Its also kinda cute he acts like a proud, caring grandfather who is just constantly impressed by them, rather than the strict parent he was with his older groups. When it comes to Rukasa rapping you can tell the difference in their style - Ruka has YG DNA in her blood and is very much swag, and Asa is an absolute machine-gun. They are actually considered the best dancers of the group, but the rest are obviously still very very good. Like That is in English bc it was actually written by Charlie Puth and he gave it to them after he saw Ahyeon’s viral Dangerously performance (the song actually won an award in SouKorea last year despite being released in like 2016).The Forever chorus really does grow on you, I can’t lie. I would check out the It’s Live performance of it (also the Sheesh one), because honestly their lives are even better than the recorded track which is soso impressive, and they’ve got so stage presence particularly in front of audiences. Especially considering their ages they really are ridiculous, like when the name was announced ppl thought it was silly/cringe but once they actually started performing everyone was like ok you know what it makes sense they’re literally baby monsters. In their intro Monsters (which actually goes hard) they have the line “not waiting any longer, better get out of our way,” and the fact that at their ages they already trained for an average of like four years (with many beginning around age 10) is also insane. Their training really shows and makes them standout to the point where lots of people are like we can barely consider these girls rookies they’re just too good (and they also began promoting during the whole live singing controversy). And to think that they’re already this good and this versatile, both as a group and individually, its scary to think of what they’ll become.
Please try to watch/react their TMEA performance. They sang 4 songs (Sheesh, batter up, like that and forever) with live performance and live with vocals. I think you might enjoy and love it.
Usually my ults are the members with the best charisma and stage presence. Most of times they are also the aces from their own group. My favorites are Junkook (BTS), Ahyeon (BabyMonster), Jennie (BlackPink), Hanni (NewJeans), Yeonjun (TXT)... I just think they are so eye catching.

Well, in interviews they confirmed no Leader, Rami Main Vocal, Ahyeon All rounder, Rora Visual/MC, Asa Main Rapper, Ruka Main dancer. I think you have a different definition for FOTG, FOTG is normally just the centre. BM we really don't know who is yet.
@@Paradoxious Centre of the group is Ahyeon. This is from YG. Face of group should be Rora. Whenever they have a group interview, Rora is the main person to front the group. Based off of lines and adlibs Ahyeon.
Wrong wrong wrong. Ahyeon is the center and face of the group. Rora literally is one of the least popular members, she can't even be face of the group because of that. Face of the group = most popular member or the 1st member you think of when you hear the group's name and for BabyMonster that would definitely be Ahyeon!
