“Her flow was my favorite” she is Asa the main rapper. She is the one in batter up who had the black and pink theme during her rap. & yes she is the one you noticed in both sheesh and like that. I think you got confused for a second because there were 3 rappers instead of 2. Ahyeon is on the rap line as well and she did the dueling rap part with ruka.

@@saifn.7747 well 1, she’s the best rapper with the best flow in the group. And in her whole generation to be real. & 2. She just is treated like it. She gets the fastest and hardest verses to execute in their songs so far. She showed she could rap the fastest pre debut. And when there is. 3-person rap, she was put last and with her own solo part. Not to mention the way she pronounces her words while rapping is so crisp and high level. Don’t confuse me hyping Asa with me dragging the other 2 rappers though. But ruka and ahyeon are super good and could easily be main rappers in any girl group.

yes this is their official debut, that's what yg said. batter up wasn't promoted at all so that wasn't technically their debut. this however will be promoted so it's their official debut. First performance is on SBS Inkigayo is next week(someone said). Best debut in kpop history imo. they slayed so hard, triple rap slayer: Ruka, Asa, Ahyeon. I was completely shocked, this mv floored me

I quite really want to hear more addictive rap verse than what we hear in SHEESH. There were lots of words/phrases refer to previous YG groups often used. Look, ASA's rap lines in Batter Up was really really something new, except the "brrrr"(which acceptable). 😊

Notice the two cochlea (spiral ear canals) on the walls behind rapping Ahyeon and Ruka, and also that they “rev” the two dirt bikes on the side walls during Asa’s amazing rap! Not 5 (YG’s 1st announced members), not 7 (members), but 10 out of 10 (score/flex)! They ARE on a roll…Rolls-Royce Ghost that is! They all shined! OT7👍 And Like That got me good too! Asa is the ACE! girl group under YG Entertainment. The group consists of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. They released their pre-debut single 'DREAM' on May 14, 2023, and they made their long-awaited debut on November 27, 2023 as a 6-member group only with a digital single, 'BATTER UP, excluding member Ahyeon, who was temporarily on hiatus due to health reasons.

Babymonster really had an opportunity to do something different, and stand out as being unique, but YG kept the same formula, format, and cadence for the music with them from previous groups, so that is unfortunate. I think "Stuck in the Middle" was a unique style, and made them stand out more.
Honestly the concept for SITM is not it. The vocals are all on point but not the concept. It's not that a hit even for the fans but if you're just a casual listener maybe SITM, Dream and non-hiphop based songs would be for you but YG knows how to cater the OG fans and new fans and they balanced it with Sheesh. For SITM, it seems like YG just experimented with something just to see if they will fit with the current trend but thankfully YG did not ride with the trend but kept the core the same but twisting it to something that would fit the girls more.
Also I am not sure why you said they did stand out more with SITM because those era did not even made a noise. Sheesh was definitely made them stand out more among the 5th gen ggs. KOF do more bold songs just like G-idle but Baby Monster have this cult-like hiphop flavor I don't know it's just different.

DIDN'T like the rap parts at all lol and I'm not joining any hate train or whatsoever. These girls are insanely talented and we all know that very well. All the "Sheesh" were super annoying the chorus was absolutely horrible to me. And wtf was the raps boom boom click clak pow or whatever. Please yg give these girls better songs. They work really really hard and deserve way better than these sheesh sheesh.
And not to mention this song has literally 6 writers involved lol.
