6:24 People always look at me funny when I'm putting away one of my games and I take the time to turn all the cards the same direction. This is a great example of why you should do that. :-P
The punched out slots look cumbersome. Why not make the ships metal and make the exploration board magnetic. Alternatively there could be iregular shaped divots instead of slots. I do hope the expansions don't cut corners since they are always more cost over production when compared to the base game. Negativity aside, it looks like a fun expansion!
Excellent video! My only feedback is about the direction of the game. Each expansion adds another layer, which I find awesome as much like you, I loved this one from the start. That said, I find 7 Wonders losing its spot on the "Next Entry Level" spot and it is definitely midrange now. I think I prefer it as a gateway game, and end up playing it without expansions as much as with.
Great review for a great game. There is a few clarifications however - the ship symbol with the coin actually awards one coin after every construction they perform. And the pirate cards with the cracked coins over the pottery makes all other players pay to the middle, or bank, their commerce level . Pirates steal more from people who have more to steal. I love 7 wonders!

I'm a duel guy, just getting into 7 Wonders base game. Are Leaders, Cities, Babel, and Armada all meant to be played together with base game? Or pick the one you want to play with the base game?
Each one adds something different. Leaders and Cities are the simpler ones and If you've played duel I guess it won't be a problem for you. Babel and Armada are a little trickier and I would advise you to try the other ones before trying all expansions. Also, most of them can be played alone with the base game. Only Cities has some cards that need Leaders to play them.
6 months later: every expansion works with the base only, but also adds mechanics that works together...so, if you don't have "Leaders", Abu Simbel from "Wonders Expansion" seems useless, If you dont have Cities, The Great Wall B Side seems odd... So, i'm still not sure what to buy

Mark Stamp no it’s actually great because it holds them tight so they can’t wiggle , I just kept kissing it. Never been an issue other than then.

Happy Gamer that’s a very good point. It’s definitely not the intro it used to be, but once you use the original I think you can switch to this too.

What a tacked on and wholly unnecessary expansion. And that bloody red ship doesn't fit in the slot. What a mess!
