Captain Avatar would not fire the Wave Motion Gun at Pluto to destroy the original reflex cannon because of respect for primitive life on the surface, Wildstar has no problem using the Wave Motion Gun on Barnard even though there are "deer" like creatures living there.
Avatars insistance on not using the wave motion gun on pluto (and later on ballion) nearly got the star force killed. He also had no issue telling wildstar to use the wave motiion Gun on the volcanoes on gamilon, knowing it was gonna kill a ton more civilians then soldiers
He's sending the women home because it's to dangerous. Hilarious. Makes no sense. They all knew the mission was dangerous. The script writer for Bolar Wars might been smoking the wacky weed.
A few of the voices in this season are kinda OK. I never liked Venture's voice before, so the Bolar wars version is kind of an improvement. Whoever they got to do Desslock does a fair impersonation of Eddie Allen. He certainly sounds more like classic Desslock than the one in the dub of "Farewell fo Battleship Yamato". Most of the other voices are worse, some of them much so. Corey Conroy sounds utterly ridiculous.
Could you imagine these battle sequences - but in C-G?!?

Did they just stand on the outside of their ships, without space suits, while in space?
They would never have made that mistake in season 1 or 2!
Yamato has bubble shield allowing it to pressure space around it.
Filip 3 also, they are kind of close to ground enough for the atmosphere of the stellar body to reach
