Nice! Major score! I have a Duke II version of this bike. So much fun to ride!! Something I've found is that the starter system is just really a weak point. I got tired of constantly having a super fresh battery to get it to crank. Kick starting is actually easier. Here is the procedure: Pull in the comp release and push the kick starter through 3 times. Let out the comp release lever. Push the kickstarter till it hits the resistance of the compression stroke. Pull in the compression release lever and then push the kickstarter just enough to get past the compression stroke. Let the compression release lever out, bring the kickstarter back to the top and give a firm kick. Starts every time. Once you get that down it's super easy.
Regarding the comments about the look of the bike towards the end, that thing (I think) is an older 640 SXC (= enduro version) that has been converted to a supermoto. The tank is an 18l model from a Duke which looks god awful and the rear end got an update later on. Also that front fender and mask are aftermarket and look very bad in my opinion. Also those handlebars are insane. I have a 2006 625 SMC which has a bigger flat slide carb, nice, small plastics, slimmer seat & tank and twin exhausts. It's much more rev happy and the powerband is higher up, 56hp at the rear wheel. All LC4's also got updated in like 2004 or something to a better flowing head and you can recognize it by the gray color and "high flow" text on the head. Love it.
I have one of those and its has amazing power! Have it for more than 10 yesrs now and runs great. You can change front and real to upgrade its looks real easy. The tank its an exra for more capacity. Great video ! I Usualy dont find LC4 videos in english.
Ya know what other lithium battery is cheap AF and has a charge indicator? The warrior drill batteries at harbor freight! I have a 4ah 12v one in my cbr600 and it rocks! Water in the gas? It ain't going to run but it'll crank for ten minutes!!! And they can be had for 20-40 bucks!

I owned one 15 years ago, still miss it. It was a beast...could wheelie in any gear. I just bought a shitter similar to yours...you guessed it, needs a little work. Of all the bikes I've owned it was my fave...can't wait to blast forrest roads sideways on the back wheel again.

i’ve got a 12amp motorcycle battery in my lc4 and it was running fine, changed the oil, left the gas on for two days without noticing. went to go start the bike and it no longer turns over just cranks. I don’t believe it could be the battery but could it be? this video gave me inspiration to a dilemma i was lost on
these bikes are an absolute blast! i got one for 2k and meant to flip it. unfortunately ill never resell it XD barring my aprilia rxv 550 its proven to be the most powerful yet reliable dual sports ive had (dont buy an aprilia XD). i can screaaaam 100 mph down the road with little to no feedbackinto my handlebars, flicks side to side effortlessly (as it should), works good on dirt (dont you dare try it in mud or snow; youve been warned), and the on demand power always leaves a boyish grin. my one true complaint about this bnikes is simple: why did they have to use a damn liquid gasket on the rocker cover -.- . i dont mind it, it means my gaskets readily available ( i use hondabond) however any new to person is going to pull out their hair understanding how to replace this when it will garenteed leak after some tim e. amazing bike; forever to be a part of my collection

When I first got my 660 raptor my first ride I let her eat an dam that thing had the best low end tourqe lol it always had its problem but when I had it setup good that low end end the woods in 3 gear from and idle to wide open was really good power for hills an turning mud tires

THats an enduro not a sm you can tell by the box section swing arm, the sm has a profile down the centre and is shorter. pain in the ass bike. the noise when starting is probably the one way bearing on the starter gear.....cdis prone to over heating and blowing with untraceable faults bottom end is weak on the black engine and improved on the grey engines from what i hear.... so glad i sold mine before i lost my shirt on it

It can be made pretty fine, rear fender newer release (normal tail light for sm), ktm 450 front etc.
