You're right its a good looking bike, give it a 600cc engine and a name we know (ie one of the big 4) and it would be a winner. I do like that 'its Chinese' argument, look where iphones are made and even some Hondas. Wasn't the same thing levelled at Japanese cars back in the 70's, now look at them. My bike is an Italian brand but built in China, it's 7 years old this year and other than routine servicing its never given me any problems.
Absolutely 100% agree pal , Fayes owned 2 Chinese bikes the lexmoto michigan and the Sinnis terrain both where trouble free and both still looked like new when we sold them 👍
Ah, the good old wildly optimistic speedo's. Back in my day RD250's could crack the ton, just & good RD400's ton ten. I only know this as a few fellow RD boys got done by the cops.
Cool vid guys, yes Bonny bike, shame a bit big for Faye to try. But hay the best things come in small packages they say. See you in the next one, cheers
Small is beautiful. She said. Nice bike and for the money, a new one of these or a thrashed 2nd hand someone else's cast off? Good effort. Happy travels
Actually an upright position on a motorcycle has been proven to be bad for your back particularly on a long ride,a slightly leaning position is better😉
@@gerrypowell2748 My back tells me different - upright on one is fine doing distance but other (slight lean) ends up painful. Suppose it can also boil down to what back problem you have.
imagine been a skinny 17yo 70mph every time! plus 100mpg without trying! They are a great bike to start on or commute to work if its not too far. When its £3 a litre im all over one!!

@@roberthunter1957 haha not a chance in standard trim book speed is approx 75mph so to GPS 86mph the clock would read 92mph so either 1up downhill or its the fastest standard 125 ever .
@@TinsonTour Sure, I remember the visit. It's only some 100 miles to Belgium too. Via Saint-Omer, the centre of French brewing. Are you getting the beer after riding vibe too ?

When I was 17 I had a Suzuki gt185 and that did just shy of a ton. 👍👍
Brilliant review as always Shaun and Fay bill near Durham
Cheers Bill 👍🏍
You two are nuts 🤘
Haha all good fun 😄
My only 125 was a wee Yamaha RD125 with spanny’s and clip ons. It would do 95 on the clock on a flat road. Did hole the pistons occasionally.
Great bikes they was my brother had a honda mbx 125 would do 103 on the clock.

Had a cagiva mito 125 unrestricted 24bhp that would show 93mph down hill
Cool vid guys, yes Bonny bike, shame a bit big for Faye to try. But hay the best things come in small packages they say. See you in the next one, cheers
Cheers John she was proper gutted about it
Brilliant again mate thanks for sharing
Cheers pal 👍🏍
Great little 125 👍
I love it pal been work on it again today
Absolutely brilliant what a smart looking bike it did brilliant twos up 👍
Yeah tbf it did a lot better than expected 👍🏍

Tbh it's a no brainer and from what I've heard these new water cooled engines are mega reliable .... time will tell i suppose
That’s pretty amazing with 25+ stone on. I have a Yamaha r 125 and have had 80+
Yeah it did ok all things considered 👍🏍
I'm eagerly waiting in India since 1 year this bike in 150 segment
It's a great little bike 👍🏍
You need a Varadero, a big 125 and upright enough to not bother your back. Bonus is that they're too big for Faye to pinch and have a giggle on it.
Had 1 many many moons ago which was bought by a young lad that rode it to Spain 👍🏍

Had a tzr125r was awesome with mig plpe thou blew engine 3 times lol
Haha the days of rebuilding 2strokes 🤣
Thing is didnt want to get rid of it lol
Nifty looking bike it looks like the yamaha yzfr125 does it have ABS?
Tbh it was a cracking little bike although it just has linked brakes no abs

Not sure I've ever been skinny pal but i can dream ... joking aside as a fun commuter some of these new 125's make proper sense 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour i agree, but if we were 17 again, and a lot lot lighter they would be a little rocket ship for a first timer!
My first 125 was a rs 125 Aprilia very fast bike happy times 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🏴🏴
Had loads of 125's about 34yrs ago and tbh they felt a fair bit quicker than the current crop 👍
hi what mic do you use when you ride and your videos have made me want to get my cbt
Cardo packtalk comms but the audio you hear are the drift mics from the cameras
looks ok to be honest, sounded a bit plasticy when you tapped the tanks but thats to be expected.
Yeah tbh there isn't a great deal to not like about it 👍
I can’t believe Faye got on the back of that bike! Yet you did prove that bike had some grunt. I hope Faye’s ok though……..
Haha it was a squeeze not as flexible these days 🤣🤣👍
Can u fit aftermarket exhaust on these as nobody seems to think u can lovely bike but dont like the exhaust puts me off buying it ruins the look
Yeah toro exhausts do a pipe for it and sounds great
What do you reckon the longevity is on these, being a Chinese bike
No idea Nick but we've owned 2 ( michigan and terrain ) and not had a prob with either of em both still looked like new after 2 years
Amazing top speed for a 125 to say it was 2 up, we were all willing it to hit that magic 70 with you haha
Haha it was mega fun ... thought it was never gonna get there 🤣🤣
A Yamaha yzf r125 hit 86 top speed and get there alot faster too

Yeah think so pal 👍
That's a hell of a big 125
Faye was gutted pal
Check out doodle on a motorcycle she's as short as Faye or similar and she has tips for riding bigger bikes when your a tiny person 😜
Yeah she watched all them ( although Faye is 2" shorter ) especially jocelian snow on the gs ... but as they all say if ur not comfy your not comfy 👍
Omg my mate had an rd350 LC that was a beast of a bike well it was to me when I was about 13-14 lol
GPX this brand origin in thailand. i like it design
Yeah great looking bike for a learner 👍
I hope GPX will release this model as 600cc in the future. Now i am holding hands and begging the factory😂
So, the little jaunt plan to Northern France has morphed to Belgium. The lure of artisan beer, chips & waffles is too much.
Tbh mate Faye wants to go back to Hardalot ( if that's how u spell it ) she loved it there 👍

I got this one
Ok bike & speed for weight it’s got 2 adult nice beginners
Yeah pretty hard to fault it really
How high she is??
I'm 4ft 11"
So is this going to be your new bike Sir 😂
Haha if I can delete 30yrs from my age then maybe 🤣
Most 125s have a payload of 140 - 150kg.
If you are 19st plus the weight of your helmets and gear, then Faye must weigh less than 4 stone.lol
Haha when we tour on the Africa Twin we are 50kgs over the gross weight so nothing new 🤣👍
That tank would def need scuff guards LOL
Haha absolutely 👍🏍
Faster than a Hare lol 🤔😀
Prefer old school 2strokes but beats walking 👍
@@TinsonTour Ohh yes had my fair share of them lol. But actually the look of that bike is nice and love the grey colour too. X 🙂
