Interesting you posted this. I was informing you of my 1999 FRC Pewter metallic on a different video and i finally took delivery of it 3 weeks ago. Just an amazing car. Its 100% stock (except for smoked windows) just the way i wanted it and just turned 19k miles. After getting it i heard the Idler pulley had a slight squeal so with great advice from Lyle at C&S corvettes in FL, he recommended i change out all 4 tensioner and idler pulleys and AC and serpentine belts. Had it done about a week after i got it, the Serpentine belt was dry rotted and cracked. Already put about 500 miles on it. while it was on the lift i saw all of the 4 end links are dried out. Next month im going to replace them with MOOG end links. (Lyle also recommended i use MOOG).
Also, a few days ago the 12 CD changer in the trunk stop working. Lyle told me he's trashed about 40 of them over the years and their not repairable. I removed it from the car. Instead of getting the adapter you have, ive been using a cassete 5.0 bluetooth adapter which plays all my itunes from my iphone perfectly.

Awesome! The Moog End Links have offered no issues for me.
Changing of the belts is one of the first things I did; didn't want to get stranded.
I've also heard this about the 12 disc changers. Fingers crossed mine still works, but if it fails I'll probably be looking to do a swap. Enjoy the FRC!

@@RubberCityMotoring yes Lyle at C&S corvettes said the same on the MOOG end links. He’s never had any issues with them. Regarding the Cd Changer he said Chevrolet by placing the changer in a vertical position is not how a CD player is supposed to be mounted and it makes sense. When I removed my unit 2 CD’s were jammed into the playing position. He also said don’t bother with finding a replacement unit. They will all fail eventually. You must be lucky so far ! He said he was shocked to hear mine even worked for a week or two!
Yes new belts were a must. The 3rd owner only put 800 miles on it since 2016 !
FYI, I installed a Pro Clip iPhone mount and it’s been great.

So it’s not apples to apples, as I switched to my stock wheels and firstone tires, but corners on the highway felt much flatter and tighter.
Less body roll, felt stiffer, and was noticeable. The bushings could be playing a major role, but I’m happy with it!
