My favorite thing to do is watch people hear Beth for the first time. Welcome to Beth Hart
Same! 💕
Me too. I 'discover her' in April when she came up on my Etta James Pandora station... I had to ask google...who is singing? Lucky me she was coming to NYC two weeks later... She was amazing!! Now I just love watching the reactions until she comes back to NYC again. She is so underrated that it is annoying...
Yup!
Thank you 🙏🏽
I get goosebumps every time I watch this video!!!
And a golden rule, never ever stop the video during a guitar solo! For a future reference LOL
And interrupt Beth while she is singing. We can't hear her over your constant chatter. So I guess you don't n want us to enjoy it at all? Bye..
I've been captivated by Beth Hart since the 90's and her voice is timeless. For more soul and emotion check out:
"Caught Out in the Rain" live from The Royal Albert Hall (2018)
"Am I the One" live at the Paradiso (2004)
The Beth Hart rabbit hole is FILLED with raw, soulful, rockin' AWESOME music. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and joy!
Love it… yours is the near universal reaction to hearing Beth Hart for the first time. It starts with a shaking of the head at the moment she utters a sound (“like I can’t fucking believe this…”); then a broad smile stretches across your face as you realize you’re experiencing next level artistry; then, if the listener is even able to speak, there’s usually some comment about “that voice.” Once the rasp and the passion have completely captured your soul and, if you haven’t literally fallen out of your chair, the emotional empathy takes you to church.
BETH’S discography is deep and diverse (Rock, Blues-Rock, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul)-here’s a sampling to react to :
1) “Am I The One” (epic performance of her song from the legendary 2004 ‘Live at Paradiso’ concert): ua-cam.com/video/hZG3MghkX3Q/v-deo.html
2) “Caught Out in The Rain” (From the 2018 Royal Albert Hall concert in London; about an unhealthy relationship with a dangerous man): ua-cam.com/video/lzdJf7Hqttk/v-deo.html
3) “I’ll Take Care of You” (From Joe Bonamassa’s ‘Live at the Beacon Theatre’ concert in NYC in 2011): ua-cam.com/video/KFphuiMxA7I/v-deo.html
4) “Whole Lotta Love” (From the 2004 ‘Live at Paradiso’ concert in Amsterdam; Led Zeppelin cover): ua-cam.com/video/3UKXP7bAg9A/v-deo.html
5) “A Change is Gonna Come” (From the Echoplex in LA, 2010; Sam Cooke cover song): ua-cam.com/video/QnIL8AKWRNQ/v-deo.html
6) “Mama” (Beth alone on piano; from 2004 ‘Live at Paradiso’): ua-cam.com/video/q2DVaSDMRMg/v-deo.html
7) “Leave The Light On” (From 2018 Royal Albert Hall concert in London; about her turbulent childhood): ua-cam.com/video/ETj8kXNAtuE/v-deo.html
8) “Love Gangster” (How Beth Hart makes an entrance at the Palais des Congres in Paris, 2018; her song about singer and poet Leonard Cohen): ua-cam.com/video/zHarYVk40RM/v-deo.html
9) “Purple Rain” (With Jeff Beck from Beck’s 2016 Hollywood Bowl ‘50 Years in Music concert’; tribute to Prince): ua-cam.com/video/VZJNbVRmI80/v-deo.html
10) “House of Sin” (Quintessential rock star Beth at the 2005 Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands): ua-cam.com/video/yLv0QuW8hHo/v-deo.html

Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart are both great together and separately. You've just entered a deep wonderful rabbit hole.
She puts her whole soul into every word. Gotta love her.
I’ll take care of you , Caught out in the rain , Am I the one ( live at paradiso) , Nutbush city limits , Black coffee
I love hearing new reactions to Beth Hart, and Joe Bonamassa. Both equally great on their own, and fantastic together. This is in my book the best cover of Etta James song. There is a huge rabbit whole you can go down with Beth and hear some fantastic performances. Joe Bonamassa is a child prodigy who was actually playing in band with guys 20 years older than him at age 9, and by age 12 he was touring with BB King. He is generally with his own band and is one of the top 10 guitarist in the world. Beth as well has won several Female Blues Artist of year. One of the best voices around that everyone should hear. Let me know, I will suggest many songs for you to check out both of them and songs they did together. One you should start with is from when Beth had her come back concert after getting out of rehab. It was a fantastic show, so check out Beth Hart "Am I the One" live at Paradiso (2004), and "Mama", "Leave the Light On", "Monkey Back", "I Don't Need No Doctor", "Broken & Ugle", "Whole Lotta Love" just to start from Live at Paradiso. More to come from later years.
Great reaction!!
I’m adding all of it to the list
The first time i heard her, it was a spiritual moment lol
Like I said, one of those moment in life
@@L8bloomer_Audi yessir...keep fighting that good fight my man
It gave me chills head to toe my first time.
I listened to this piece " Rather go blind" sung by Etta James, Tina Turner ,Beyoncè and others. Some were great Interpretations In live others in studio , in movies with choruses, with vocalists, with "tears" flowing from eyes with long eyelashes, all certainly with participation according to their soul, but I can say that, at least for me, Beth really put a soul, through voice and gestures, which encompasses love, fear, jealousy, resentment, anger and, at the end you feel the sweetness and pain together asking not to be abandoned and, preferring to say that it would be better to go blind not to see the betrayal. Love from Roma.Italy.
Bro, put your headphones on, the guitar solo is playing! 🎸🎶👂
Joe was opening for BB King before he was a teenager
Best female soul singer.
You said it...a MASTERPIECE. PS...If you liked that check out Jimmy Barnes/Joe Bonamassa "Stone Cold".
You should know by now that you never stop the in the middle of a guitar solo, especially one like Joe laid down on this track.
Very good reaction, since you liked it a lot I'm going to recommend I'll Take Care of You (live at Beacon Theater NY) with this one you just saw are the best 2 song of them for me. Success!!
I FEEL YA BRO! You're reaction is so frigging cool....I love this as much as you do!
Did you just pause in the middle of that guitar solo? Thank God...I was about to lose my mind up in here!
@@lettherebmusic4249 🤣 I’m sorry
This Two artist is capable of taking someone to heaven just like that cause I ain't never heard guitar crying and pitch and not loosing it right there in the stage..good God glory, what a show.
I truly enjoyed your reaction. I love seeing people experience Beth and Joe the first time. Especially this performance, it’s my favorite. Plenty of other ones though! Some people are amazed by them, but I enjoy seeing those who are seriously moved by the beauty of the music. Those are the ones who have true soul. You’ve got it!
You need to hear Joe sing too. Someday After Awhile ( You’ll be sorry) performed at same concert in Amsterdam. His voice and those guitar skills make him the total package. With Beth try Baddest Blues performed in Amsterdam. Perfection from both.
I love your reaction. I love all genres of music and have taught my kid and grandkids. I love when they can sing along with me to 70s, 80s music and we love the 50s, and 60s music too.
Top top song , Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonamassa stone cold ,any beth song
I have been to over 175 concerts in my life....this performance in Amsterdam by Beth and Joe rank in the top five live shows ever. Pink Floyd holds the top three spots for me. The 1983 US festival holds forth, and this show is fifth. Amazing talent from both of them. I would suggest you check out more from both of them. Together and as individual artists. Her song Leave the lights on live, and his song Mountain Time live would be a great place to start.
Thank you Billy Foster & Etta James for the original and Joe and Beth for the greatest interpretation ever.
7:53...you would be hard-pressed to find a better vocal-to-guitar solo transfer than this.
Beth will do that to you! 💯🔥👏
Dude - you have to react to "Am I the One" (Live at paradiso) Beth is the best blues singer alive today.
I’m adding it to the list
💯
You like guitar? - checkout Joe and Beth- live at the beacon theater - I’ll take care of you!!! Joe smokes on guitar!!!!!
Have a bottle of Tennessee Whiskey and listen to Chris Stapleton sing about it.
You HAVE to listen to their song I'll Take Care of You..again AMAZING! There is also an early song of Beth's at The Paradiso called Am I The One. Intense!
Reactions should be done at the end of the performance. Constantly stopping is breaking the contimnuum of this beauty. expressions should be after.
I appreciate your brother, but please please don't stop it so much and look the viewer enjoy your reaction and especially the video LOL
Lesson learned
I appreciate you too sir
Check out Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes doing “Stone Cold”.
I'm new here. Have you ever reacted to Janis Joplin?
Great reaction! But please don't pause so often as it ruins the continuity. If you are going to pause please rewind a few seconds before you restart. It's great that you appreciate the material, but quite annoying when you interrupt a solo or vocal line. Subscribed.
Cheers and thanks for your work!
Put a sock in it!
Wait…. You want me to stop talking on my reaction page, and just let the video play? You can’t really want that, right? I mean it it wouldn’t make sense. Cus if you wanted that, you would’ve just watched the original video. It would be the intelligent thing to do, and you’re intelligent, right? You must have been trying to say something else, because that would be what a simple personal would do, and you’re not simple, right?
this reactyion would have been great without so many stoppages......just saying
Stopping a solo ??
If it was more than 15 seconds, you knew he was gonna slam a pause in the middle of it.
Even worse cutting a Solo!!
Shame! Shame!!
I like you dude. But you pause too much. 5 pauses in 2 minutes. Come on man, let them go.
I’m sorry I was just amazed, and I didn’t want to talk though it and miss it
Ti ti to many stops
