Man, the GXT 67PRO looks a wonderful radio. I wonder if we will see FRS/GMRS radios from MIDLAND that will not only FRS/GMRS but also have VHF/UHF receiver to have ability to monitor other radio services. Other manufacturers have produced some, such as BTECH and WOUXUN, both handhelds and mobiles. Don't me wrong, MIDLAND is an excellent manufacture, and I wouldn't say anything negative about MIDLAND
@@donalderickson-si8ww I know the Midland GXT 67PRO is a GMRS only radio. I would hope that Midland comes out with a radio that can be used as a scanner and GMRS radios. If they do, I hope they would receive DMR and NXDN, so I could use it for Railfanning .
Midland is working under orders from the F C C as to build a 5 watt radio and the antenna is stock MY radio antenna can not be removed also I run a 45 watt base with three hand held radio at 5 watts.
your radio transmits to a 60 watt tower and you put in the the PL tone so your radio will talk to the tower. you go in at 5 watts and come out 60 watts with a 20 miles range on one tower.
This thing isn’t even mildly competitive in any way! No USB-C charging, no dual monitoring, no removable antenna, and they want a $200 cash grab! Get out of here with that! The TD-H3 has dual monitoring, two ptt’s, also can be setup to transmit on 2m/70 cm, removable battery and antenna, Bluetooth programmable using an app, color screen, etc. all for less than $40.
$200 is totally doable. 👍🏼 Being a 5 watt, with all its features, it’s very reasonably priced. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Spoke to her as well! Super informative!
Thanks
Great features
Wow that’s an awesome upgrade to the coms system
Yes definitely a great upgrade to anyone communication system

$200.... I felt that in my soul..
Yea a bit pricey but still very advanced for its size
It is a super heterodyne receiver
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
🔥🔥🔥🔥
They look good. Not sure about the price. And you can't remove the Antenna
Yea I don’t believe that you can remove the antenna but I found it to be more of a hiking radio that gives you better range if you are away from camp
It is a super heterodyne radio though.
@@RKingis True but that doesn't make a big difference.

and all three of my radio's totial $700.00 dollars
What does repeater mean and is it 199 for only one?
A repeater is a way to extend the range of the radio most handheld radios are only line of sight. This only come with one radio for $199

60 watts with a 20 miles range on one tower.
I was totally on board with this until they dropped the fixed battery aspect. That’s a hard no for that price point.
I’m agree but it means there is room for improvement on future models

No USB Connector? Non-removable antenna? PASS!
well this is the first version of this maybe in future models they might include those options.
