That was a really thorough demo. That pedal sounds very close to the high on fire guitar tone that so many people Chase.. I like the versatility of that pedal. The mids and the presents change sound so drastic it sounds good just about any setting you use it for. For someone like me that just do Studio work that would be a perfect petal for a lot of the tones that I constantly and searching for recording. I'm definitely going to be going for one of these on the 26th. Thanks for another awesome video.
Mine just arrived a few hours ago. Loven it. Came back to get some tips on dialing a tone zone. I'm a noob. Only my second pedal. And I'm using a boss katana mk2 artist, of which i velcroed the Iommic patch that Steve sent right under the boss logo. It looks killer like it was meant to be there
I don’t really play guitar anymore but if I did I’d buy this in a heartbeat. I have Baghdad on my running playlist and when it comes on that tone rips through my soul like a god damn chainsaw.
Just got mine about a week ago, and I love it. It’s mean and thick, but surprisingly well mannered. It’s not like a high gain fuzz or distortion, this thing is quite articulate and gets really tight with a boost in front. It’s got a huge range of tones, I’ve gotten some really nice light overdrive type tones, all the way up to some filthy death metal (with a boost/OD). I prefer running it in front of the amp, and using my fx loop for my gate and reverb/delays. Although it does sound killer in the loop as well. As for stacking with other pedals, it’s great either before or after most things I’ve tried. The key with this guy is to run the gain, depth, and drive quite low, to get that light overdrive thing going, then kick on whatever fuzz or distortion you have, and the end result is just thick and huge. Or run it on its own and you got HoF in a box, which is sick. Amazing pedal, worth every penny in my opinion.
Haha I agree. This thing sounds like it eats the FET for breakfast. Do you still have yours? I remember you mentioning it being a trickier one to dial in. After just revisiting your video on the FET, I definitely prefer the sound of this. I know they’re not entirely comparable with the Soldano preamp being in the Baghdad, but definitely in the same realm.
@@TheDistortionPrinciple really? I hate being broke I want one of these so bad. You sold me on a Dronemaster a while back and now you're selling me on one of these 😂 I can only imagine boosting the Baghdad with the Dronemaster 🥵
@@TheDistortionPrinciple the Dronemaster makes everything so percussive 😂 I run it into my orange micro dark then send the FX send of the micro dark into the input of my marshall origin as if it were a pedal and into a 4x12, it's obnoxious 😂
@@TheDistortionPrinciple I mainly did it because I love the gain of the orange, but it has no low end, even sending it to the FX return of the origin. So I took the FX send and put it into the front of the origin like a pedak because it has tons of low end, but no gain. Even with the origin gain dimed and the Dronemaster dimed into it it's not really enough and it kinda flubs out by that point. So now I have the best of both worlds I guess haha I'd stack pedals into the origin but I don't have a pedal power supply to run multiple at once without noise because they're expensive and like I mentioned I'm broke lmao. The origin is a cool amp but I regret not getting the 50, the 20 has crossover distortion and that's part of why it's flubby and harsh sometimes
Thanks but I don’t need any more encouragement to buy this lol

Killer demo and playing bro. I think this pedal will be an absolute classic. It's perfect.
