In Norway, Angelina is known to support charities - not only those that help children, but also those that help protect the environment. So it was not surprising that Angelina was invited to attend a Norwegian government delegation visiting the state of California, led by Crown Prince Haakon and the Norwegian foreign minister. The purpose of this visit was to build cooperation between California and Norway on environmental and climate issues, so Angelina had decided to sing Michael's beautiful anthem with the deep message (We must take care of each other more. After knowing the untimely and oftentimes disastrous ends to many of her vocal mentors and friends, she is very aware how fortunate she is to have such a protecting and defending family and team around her. Why they need to resort to that method of production, when we know Christie is quite talented enough to pull this off, is a mystery. It’s a common technique in the music business but people should be aware of it. All I Ask falls into the same category. AJ as usual delivers an electrifying performance that will stand the test of time.

I remember during her 2021 christmas special when she said that she is not very talkative and it is nice to see her improving since then in a very natural and charming way. A few days ago she gave a red carpet interview during the "Unforgettable" Asian American Awards and was asked a tough question ("What does being asian mean to you?"). While thinking about an answer and searching for the right words she made a perfect "Squirrel" move ("Oh, my good - is that Bella Poarch?") to buy enough time to find an answer. Very smart.

Every time she interprets a song by stripping it in her own way, she seems to simultaneously increase the level of understanding of the lyrics and amplify their expressive power. Angelina's musical vision transcends the ordinary and she always manages to give a different interpretative reading, she really has a musical knowledge and analytical ability that is beyond my understanding, also considering her age. Her phrasing, underpinned by her wonderful use of breath and her jazzy vision, always fascinates me and gives me chills every time, despite having listened to it hundreds of times. 💛🧡❤

As she gives the speech in front of her watching King we see her for the first time the very tiniest bit nervous until she sings.
You are right! I wonder what was recorded in advance (since it's not clearly done in one take): the intro speech or the song. For her it's more safe to sing in public than to talk, I guess!
@@erikcouvret That's for sure. She's not comfortable speaking at all. But she's improving 🙂 She seemed very natural on her concerts this summer, speaking quite a bit to the audience. And very soon she'll have to get comfortable on interviews as well I guess 😉😊
I remember during her 2021 christmas special when she said that she is not very talkative and it is nice to see her improving since then in a very natural and charming way. A few days ago she gave a red carpet interview during the "Unforgettable" Asian American Awards and was asked a tough question ("What does being asian mean to you?"). While thinking about an answer and searching for the right words she made a perfect "Squirrel" move ("Oh, my good - is that Bella Poarch?") to buy enough time to find an answer. Very smart.
