In order to get this ending, you have to find all the secret report from Day 1 (Week 1) until Another Day. After that, play Day 7 (Week 3) and watch the ending/credit roll.
nah he's rid of neku as of New Day, he really is not an important part of him anymore, after all Neku is just his guinea pig, theres no point of keeping those forever & eventually your going to leave in soon enough.
He's sad, because they after all became friends. If you read the reports, Joshua has always been alone so being part of a gang even if it was part of his plan, was something he had never had before. Also don't forget the scenes from KH:DDD, in one of which Neku tells him that Shibuya is his (Josh's home) too, so Neku clearly wants to keep being friends with him.
There is this theory, that Nekus entry fee for the last game was the fact that Joshua was his friend after all, but cause he lost the game, and so he can't get his entry fee back, Joshua wasn't able to join them at the end. (And of course the fact, that Neku lost the game, cause he didn't shot Joshua, Joshua decided to bring them all back to live and let Shibuya survive cause this was the prove that he was wrong and the people actually can change)
+GhostKing-Di-Angelo Unlikely. Neku's final entry fee for the third round of the Reaper's Game was the Many Potential Partners he could've formed a Pact With. As for Joshua, he's an Angel, and *Angels don't consort with Mortals*, no matter how pretty chill they were during some impending assimilation plot taking place during a game that said Angel *also happened to have a hand in orchestrating*. Wait. Sorry, just going to dip into my own theory for a second, but both Joshua and Hanekoma have to be *Nephilim*, and Nephilim are for the most part, *Fallen Angels*.
Eh... No? First. I was talking about the final game, where Joshua gives Neku the gun and said "I'll count to 10, the winner can decide what happens to Shibuya", not the last reapers game. Second. Joshua is NOT an angel. He is the Composer. The Composer isn't an angel, he is the god of the Underground and the angels are from the higher plane, to watch over the Composer and the Underground as guardians.

Actually if you look closely on the first day on the first week at hachiko where you find shiki his sprite is in the backround. I nearly pissed when i saw that.
but the message that Mr. Hanekouma(i think i spelled that wrong) around the second week he says that "the world ends with you" meaning that Neku's world is only as big as he lets it be. Because of him saying that Neku begins to broaden his horizons and open up. I much prefer that.
To me Joshua is lonely....... I think he wants a friend ( other than Mr.H ) to stay by his side.... He does't have the best 'people skills' so it must be pretty hard for him.... if Joshua was real I would be very happy to be his friend!
@meeperpieman Cont. Neku came along and tore apart that perception. Honestly, count how many times Josh was rendered speechless by Neku's various contemplations on what it means to expand one's horizons. He'd pause for a good moment before doing a shitty job of trying to cover it up. "Your face is priceless," anyone? In any case, Josh was heavily influenced by Neku to spare Shibuya.
yeah that makes perfect sense. Neku and joshua were my favorite friendship in the whole game though, It's a little sad that they don't reunite at all, for me at least.
He probably feels a little guilt as well, for being the cause of it all, despite being the reason neku and his gang were able to face what was really important to them and become the better and happier persons as we see them in the end. You get that feeling when you see how much he helps everybody in KH3DS, and there Neku said to Sora "see you in Shibuya" which means we might see Shibuya in KH3 and more Joshua (if he`s not a God), Neku and his gang. Hoping for a proper sequel the most though!
@meeperpieman Beat, Day 7. Read the entire report. He has no desire to destroy Shibuya because it changed for the better also reflecting his own sense of enlightenment. He finally grasped that even the worst example of an individual can improve (E.G. Neku) thus making him optimistic and feel that Shibuya can and will grow as a city too. After all, he wanted to destroy it simply because he felt that it was too stagnate and un-improving.
I guess Joshua would rather want to join with the gang than to be an angel, but I guess he is also happy by giving shibuya and everyone else a second chance and a change of heart after meeting neku and the rest of the gang, which is why joshua is still damn awesome!
I really do hope they make a sequel! I'd love for it to focus on their friendship, if this ending wasn't a goodbye for good. I saw the videos, I liked :D good job
not a bad idea, but I just want to point out that in Japan Twewy is called It's a wonderful world. So when you think about it. During that last part in the Japanese version it would say It's a Wonderful World. Personally that makes more sense. In the end we all have our own opinions about things like this.
@Crapcarp555 Despite what Joshua did, Neku and Shibuya still stand and Joshua is alone once again in the end. Even if he killed Neku and played him like a harp, Neku ended up with friends, everyone got their second chance (including Rhyme) and he didn't destroy Shibuya. Joshua had a change of heart and that's what counted to the happy ending we got with this game. Say what you like, but if Joshua was truly heartless he wouldn't have done any of that and he wouldn't be so sad here.
so the mess he was referring to was "shibuya's impurification", namely Joshua having no Conductor and very little Reapers present to run a Game. maybe he made that Game with Kubo because Shinjuku deserved to be cleansed, but also so that he would have the Reapers necessary to run The Reapers' Game?
Next game just gotta be Mr.H's part. With a new beginning, lovely characters and just perfect way to assort everything. only character that seems well and interesting enough to say he started it all as it feels like he went through the same thing as neku did. it woulnt mess with the ending, but how the reapers game established. Before the Joshua, the bet and anything esle. Who wouln'tp l ay that?
Joshua is the equivalent of a god. Basically, he found the humans in Shibuya to be a blight on the earth, and orchestrated the whole thing as a bet between him and the final boss - The winner decides the fate of Shibuya, worst case scenario being the complete erasure of Shibuya. The bet went that, if Neku won, Shibuya would deleted, which is why they kept making cheap tricks to prevent it from happening. That's how I recall it at least.
After finishing the game and just thinking about previous DS games, I would have to say that this is one of the best, because it's unlike any other. That's for damn sure.
i never understood the ending. this and before the credits. i'm not trolling or anything i just want someone to explain it to me. the ending was about as vague as a Kubrick film
Joshua, the game master, pretty much set the whole games up to test the city and see if it's worthy of survival, the leader (the final boss has been a while since I played his name escapes me) was the leading force in proving Joshua that the town isn't useless. Joshua used Neku to participate in the games for him and test the leader, and essentially everyone else was just placed in there at random. The title and various cut scenes throughout the game is supposed to explain this to you, it's what I gathered about it anyway, oh right, when Joshua shot Neku it basically means he lost the game and it restarted over again. About after the credits however, this secret ending, Neku is still trapped in the game while Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme are all out of it (Rhyme got killed and essentially was ejected out of the game as a pin, and somehow got her body back I'm assuming Joshua gave it back to her) but they can all see Neku because of their connections with each other. Shiki is the brown haired girl btw. Joshua is the white spirit beside the secret final boss (Name escapes me AGAIN). This is what I gathered from it and some of it may be wrong I'll never know unless I try to bring it up right? Sorry about not knowing some things :P
I just finished the game and from what i can see, Joshua admitted he is wrong after all and that people can change and Shibuya is not worth destroying, this video exactly tries to explain that. So in the last game Neku doesn't want to shoot Joshua, and in his own way he decided to leave things up to Joshua. So in the end Joshua restore Shibuya to its previous state, bring Neku, Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme back to life. Even in the last cutscene Neku says this "I trust you" presumably to Joshua.
Lauchlin Yurchuk Essentially, Joshua wanted to see that people could change and challenged Neku to a duel. Both Megumi and Hanekoma were prepared to kill him and save Shibuya, therefore betraying his trust. The way for Neku to win the duel was to not shoot. Remember in week 1 when Neku was prepared to kill Shiki in order to exit the game? Joshua wanted to see if he had changed since then. If Neku shot him, he would have proved that he hadn’t changed at all and lost, causing Joshua to believe that people couldn’t change. However, since Neku didn’t shoot, he proved to Joshua that people *could* change, and thus Neku would win the game. Though since Neku didn’t kill Joshua, he couldn’t take over his position as Composer.
Of course, some characters would remain. Koki, for one, seeing as he's one of the secret reports says that the only thing stopping him from becoming an angel is his lack of motivation.
Thinking of sequel, i really want it to focus on the angels, and what they get up to. i think TWEWY has quite an intresting backstory/lore, and i hope they focus on that some more. I mean, there's clearly a lot of angels living in the higher plane. but surely they don't JUST look over the Reapers Game, right? they have to do something else, or else they'd be bored to tears.
Heh, he was a protagonist gone antagonistic back to a protagonist again. He was about as "evil" as Shades; they were both trying to do good for their city (Josh wanted to start from scratch whilst protecting other districts from Shibuya's "poison") but had lost track of the line between helpful and detrimental. At least he realized Shibuya had vastly improved and stuck with it at the end.
@VanitasLover Actually there was never a fourth week for Neku. When he's on the ground screaming "What the hell?!", in the background the crowd is surrounding him with concern instead of walking right past him like they did when he was dead. The whole 7 days later thing was more for symbolic reasons. Heck the crew probably needed some time to recuperate and get in touch with reality again before going out and about :D
Mm I do. See Joshua is unhappy because he's simply lonely. He's unhappy because he can't join Neku and his friends. It's one of the reasons why he left Shabuya the same, because he saw a change in Neku and his friends and at the same time he kinda grew attached to Neku as a friend. If you watch or play Kingdom Hearts 3D it shows hints he shows a hint of guilt and a little compassion to what he tries to do. He actually tries saving Neku & co and was hurt when he couldn't. He's not all bad.
He's not all bad though. Shoot he brought them all back to life and if they hadn't went through the hell they went through, Neku and his friends wouldn't change. Infact this ending show's actually a lonely character and as said to Fefnir watch the walkthroughs for KH 3D, it shows he has hints of guilt for what he did and he actually tries saving Neku and his friends in that game.
@DuskChill I figure the Composer manipulates the minds of people in direct touch with the winning players to make them forget they were ever gone. It would be kinda like what he did during the Red Skull pin ordeal. I'm even willing to wager that the players themselves will eventually forget The Game. That would explain why nobody knows what happens after death (unless they're Reapers).
@dinokid2005 He's the Composer (kinda like a deity or ruler of the underworld). It'll make more sense if you beat the game and read the secret reports :)
@meeperpieman The secret reports directly state that Joshua stayed his hand not because the Higher Plane told him to but because he DECIDED to. As he played the game and saw Neku change from a petty self serving child to an open minded adult, he himself was forced to see Shibuya's capabilities because he was changing too. "It seems the course of the Game has brought about a change of heart in the Composer. ...As the Composer has changed, so Shibuya itself has metamorphosed. "
Well that and cause they wouldn't really react to him the same way as each other. They'd be kind of afraid of him knowing what he could do as a composer and such. Even if Neku does trust him, they'd still feel abit iffy around him. A After all, if you knew someone or had a friend with powers such as being able to erase people and such, you'd be a bit cautious around them too. Even so having to be afraid or uncomfortable around someone is not something you'd like to have with a friend.
@dinokid2005 Pretty much. I wouldn't necessary call him high class because we don't know what the structure of his society is, but he is 100% angel hence the white wings. Joshua is (in my perspective) half angel half reaper - not really one or the other. He's in the underground to keep the balance (and resurrect the occasional player) and isn't included in the affairs of the angels. Yup :D
@KopaXTani I really hope so! There are plenty of interviews with Nomura stating that he definitely wants to make a sequel. With the creation of the 3DS and introducing TWEWY to KH, it seems quite likely that there will be one.
@TheLostPlayer222 You have to read the secret reports. Sanae mentions it a couple times particularly when explaining what he is and what purpose he serves for the Game.
@VanitasLover I think for a sequel , square should do about neku and the others being dragged through all the other UG'S , I mean like if each of them became composers of the UG's for other places , joshua did say that there are other UG'S other than shibuya , and it's possible that neku and others might begin to get bored with everyday life and want to expirience the adventure they felt from shibuya's reaper game. but they'd need a way to enter the UG's
@homicidalpsychokat Mr. H is already a fallen angel, with that punishment in effect for teaching Sho how to make taboo noise he will most likely be killed.
@merpmeep The way I interpreted the secret reports is that the citizens of Higher Plane don't yet know who told Minamimoto the secrets of Taboo Noise, the identity of the Composer, etc. Therefore, he's not quite a fallen angel even though his actions would designate him so. He'll be a true fallen once they catch him and and then punish him accordingly (I hope it's not by death!). I'm probably wrong in this case, but that's just the way I perceived it XD
If you read all the secret reports you understand this ending sin it only unlocks after you finish them so go back and finish them to understand it worth it so you learn fully the game
@VanitasLover I think for a sequel , square should do about neku and the others being dragged through all the other UG'S , I mean like if each of them became composers of the UG's for other places , joshua did say that there are other UG'S other than shibuya , and it's possible that neku and others might begin to get bored with everyday life and want to expirience the adventure they felt from shibuya's reaper game. but they'd need a way to enter the UG's this is all theoretical
@Muralhator Having read Wikis and finished collecting the secret reports (good thing I saw this video or I'd never have seen the Stinger, having forgetten about it) one theory is that, in the Another Day chapter, Mr. H told that Neku he might need him "sooner than either of us think". Seems to suggest a sequel could take place in one of them alternate worlds the game toys with.
@applekingdom987 he was upset that even though he won his Game with the conducter (forget his name) Hanekoma and the rest of the High Angels told him he can't erase Shibuya, since as Hanekoma said "it's their world", (the humans, who wanted shibuya to remain)so it's not Joshua's right to make that decision.
He isn't mad about Shibuya staying the same because it had in fact changed for the better according to one of the secret reports. He is probably just cross about not being able to join the crew or something.
just cleared it all recently and tbh you dont need to have pins to beat pig noises (i didnt at least) if your partner has good enough equipments to beat them for you + fusion attacks. I use that tiger jacket cloth thing (its yellow and you can buy it in d&b in molco if I remember right and also buy that necklace from the same store because both in total grants you a fusion attack in with beat) and if you cant win with that after a few tries then you can always stack up attack food/capsules.
@bushicheeno They're talking about the gun showdown between Joshua and Neku. He had an entry fee then and Kalyps043 was wondering what it was. I personally think it was Shiki and Beat.
@Xackadee (con't)...So Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya because he felt a little love, he didn't do it because he saw how people react under immense pressure. It restored his faith in Shibuya, therefore, he didn't need to destroy it.
Yeah the English version tends to change things abit. In the Japanese version, Mr.H actually askes if Joshua is lonely and emplies Neku as "friend". This is when Joshua disappears. Oh yeah, sure...Joshua can just come up to them and say "hi"....Kinda hard to do when they know who he is and what he's done. Don't matter what form he's in. He could erase their memories but that feeling would still remain. He could come to em in a different form but that would be just another lie.
@Neonsuperskinny Reusing an older comment of mine here: Actually there was never a fourth week for Neku. When he's on the ground screaming "What the hell?!", in the background the crowd is surrounding him with concern instead of walking right past him like they did when he was dead. The whole 7 days later thing was more for symbolic reasons.
I noticed that too. It almost seemed that he had forgotten to be an asshole because he was sad. If you think about it, his city was destroyed and all he could manage to - barely - save was four people. He probably had to flee very quickly to avoid being killed or something. And who knows what happened to Sanae? Lots of food for thought there.
@666or999 My theory is that because Joshua was supposed to erase Shibuya but didnt . The OverGround(Possible name for where those angels live?) is coming apart and neku has to save it somehow but their most likely making a sequel so just wait and see
@meeperpieman While I honestly can't say what Hanekoma is refering to, I do know FOR SURE it has nothing to do with Shibuya's untimely destruction. It does appear to be geared specifically towards Neku and his friends though. Perhaps he wants to join them like everyone else below us seems to think? Perhaps he is in desperate need of officers and the like (since majority of them were erased)? Square left this EXTREMELY open ended so I suppose we'll find out in the sequel :)
@DestinyBell864 Well if it was a sequel, I'd hope it'd have something to do with Joshua and Sanae getting into some SERIOUS trouble. They both broke SO MANY RULES within three weeks! Killing someone in the RG? Abandoning The Game? Near destruction of an ENTIRE district? Creating taboo noise to KILL YOUR COMPOSER?! Sanae's actions could turn him into a fallen angel. Gawd knows what could happen to Joshua. Neku could be there to save their asses somehow XD.
Actually just talk to the reaper on the floor you are on, it'll reopen every floor for you. Then talk to the reaper on the 13th floor and the roof will be accessable.
@ffviifangirl1 That's actually what I think "One week later" was. Neku didn't play a fourth game, he and the others probably just had to explain things to their parents, and Shibuya's a big place, so it must've taken a while to find each other.
@Crapcarp555 However much you may dislike Joshua is no reason to use flawed logic just to hate on him. He's not that bad, in fact Mr H did say that he's been alone all his life. Josh is just lonely and his time with Neku showed him what it's like to have friends, opening up a bit. Why else did he spare Neku and Shibuya? Why would he be upset that Neku said no and didn't shoot? I think it was there that he saw the full change in Neku and he probably felt something back in return.
There's a secret image on the iOS version which has a person who is neither Shiki nor Eri holding Mr. Mew in front of the 104 building, which has the words "New 7 Days" on the screen
@777Roxen he only has power in Shibuya's underground, as he said in the game there are many other areas. and even so, all the beings of the higher plane have more control over Shibuya's underground than he does.
Joshua is one of the two persons responsible for the whole mess. Joshua is probably the biggest asshole in the entire game. Which is why we all love him so much :P
What do you mean he can't join Neku? He could just take on the appearance he took in the UG and say hi to them. I know he sees Neku as his friend despite all the stuff they go through but in this ending he seems to show regret about leaving Shibuya alone. Mr. H tells him "It's their world. They get to decide what to do with it." Which implies that Joshua is unhappy that he can't control Shibuya, even though he's the one who changed his mind about Shibuya.
@Crapcarp555 The reason Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya was because if Neku (The worst in Shibuya) could change then maybe Shibuya could as well. It says so in the secret reports. None of your reasons (with the exception of 4 and possibly 1) really make sense as to Joshua's decision. It all came down to Neku in the end. You raise a very good point, but the bond Neku forged with Joshua really handed down his decision.
i feel sorry for joshua... even though he was annoying, and what he did to neku was sorta bad, i still feel sorry for him... =w= he was alone for a long time, and he never got to join w/ neku and the others in their reunion... =w=
After beating the game you have to play every chapter again and meet all of the requirements to get a secret report. This generally means killing pigs, talking to certain people, and defeating bosses on hard or ultimate.
no Mr. H is an Angel and Joshua is some sort of Death God (when going to the room of reconing there's a path called the Death God's Pad implying that the path ahead belongs to a Death God or Shinigami
@Xackadee I suppose Joshua wanted to be human and live like one. Which makes him such an ass-hole because he's like "Okay Neku, take my job so I can be happy," and Neku just wanted to be with his friends. Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya for four reasons: 1.) Rhyme's selflessness. 2.) Iron Bitch's coldness 3.) Ram-crouch's "bottomless career ambitions"(not exactly sure what that means) and 4.) Condutor's wild actions born from over-flowing love...TBC
@VanitasLover Indeed , it makes me sad because we know how much joshua wants to join them in their reunions and so on , but he can't. This game is perfect to be an anime , i don't see why square don't consider it. I mean their hopefully going to make a sequel once they come up with a solid plot for a sequel and they finish all their current games in progress , but i wish they would do something else too like make an anime out of this one.
then you don't get the story; it says 'The World begins with you' because Neku now has more than one perspective and his world is now beginning with him not staying the solitary emo-like person he once was
@VanitasLover nomura wants there to be a sequel , but theres so much else to do. i just hope they keep all the main characters and don't change any of them , cause i know everybody can get attached to these characters easily :C
The world begins with you...
Such a beautiful way to end
Don’t you mean… Begin?
*Drum noise*
this makes me sad ;-; Joshua was probably sad because he wanted to go back with Neku and everyone, just think about it
Oh yeah I...I know what you mean by that. 😟
nah he's rid of neku as of New Day, he really is not an important part of him anymore, after all Neku is just his guinea pig, theres no point of keeping those forever & eventually your going to leave in soon enough.
@@rogue1248 But Neku was the reason Joshua didn't decide to destroy Shibuya in the first place. Pretty sure that would be a huge part in changing him
Pretty sure we will learn why they added that dialogue in there for a subtle reason
Neku, bruh, those are some expensive looking headphones.
Only a few were ever made.
Ikr
I'll take them if he doesn't want them 😅
Beat picked them up and modified them
Exactly my thought when i first saw this scene
There is this theory, that Nekus entry fee for the last game was the fact that Joshua was his friend after all, but cause he lost the game, and so he can't get his entry fee back, Joshua wasn't able to join them at the end. Unlikely.
GhostKing-Di-Angelo
Oh. Okay.
+GhostKing-Di-Angelo Joshua IS an angel. Know how he survived Minamimoto's attack? By travelling to another world, on another plane. Ever asked yourself why there are 2 Joshuas in Another Day? There's no need to throw away a good pair of headphones like that...
I'd be happy to take them off his hands 😅
Don't worry apparently he got em back in a new day
But his development 😅
And Joshua is also the reason why Neku and his friends were able to find out what was really important to them and become better persons!
No he's an angelic Producer. He oversees Joshua's game and makes sure everything is stable.
When I saw the original ending I wished Joshua was there stalking them because that’s something he would do
And then I saw this
Well I'm sure Joshua was behind the scenes doing SOMETHING during the first week, we just didn't see him much.
Actually if you look closely on the first day on the first week at hachiko where you find shiki his sprite is in the backround. I nearly pissed when i saw that.
Sluggy Mcfuggly I saw it too!! I thought I was the only one who noticed!!ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ

Neku and joshua were my favorite friendship in the whole game though, It's a little sad that they don't reunite at all, for me at least.
Just beat the game and was too lazy to get everything to unlock this. I really think this game is amazing, I love it.
you better have done it at this point
He probably feels a little guilt as well, for being the cause of it all, despite being the reason neku and his gang were able to face what was really important to them and become the better and happier persons as we see them in the end. You get that feeling when you see how much he helps everybody in KH3DS, and there Neku said to Sora "see you in Shibuya" which means we might see Shibuya in KH3 and more Joshua (if he`s not a God), Neku and his gang. Hoping for a proper sequel the most though!
I think there should be a game on joshua's point of veiw on this
Neku, those purple Beats are expensive. Don't just throw them on the ground like that!
To everyone surprised by the fact that Hanekoma is an Angel: Did you even read the Secret Reports? Did you even play the fucking game?
Okay. That makes more sense why Joshua sprouted wings in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance
I have the feeling the next TWEWY game will be a prequel not sequel. Like there was another version or the game and how Joshua became the composer
***** or a sequel called the world begins with you :0
If the sequel actually happen that is....
Too bad the long awaited game is Final Remix
i would love that
Meh , you half right , its called final remix version for switch
I guess Joshua would rather want to join with the gang than to be an angel, but I guess he is also happy by giving shibuya and everyone else a second chance and a change of heart after meeting neku and the rest of the gang, which is why joshua is still damn awesome!
I really do hope they make a sequel! I'd love for it to focus on their friendship, if this ending wasn't a goodbye for good.
I saw the videos, I liked :D good job
I NEWS FOR YOU!
This aged well....8 years later
I hope u liked NEO
NEO was a such wonderful sequel for this masterpiece
not a bad idea, but I just want to point out that in Japan Twewy is called It's a wonderful world.
And also, Neku finally removed his headphones. He's not gonna shut himself to the world anymore.
Even though Josh was such an ass in the story I feel bad for him in this scene. Ya know him not being able to make friends because he's the composer
so the mess he was referring to was "shibuya's impurification", namely Joshua having no Conductor and very little Reapers present to run a Game. maybe he made that Game with Kubo because Shinjuku deserved to be cleansed, but also so that he would have the Reapers necessary to run The Reapers' Game?
It's been 4 years, give us a sequel or anime adaptation!
Oh BOI DO I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU
OH BOI DO I HAVE NEW NEWS FOR YOU
Time travel moment
@@VioletaVolnutt I was so fucking happy when I heard the news for the anime. And then they announced Neo! god, it's all so hype
XD
2 things!
1. Joshua: Y’all ugly (teleports away)
2. *THE WORLD BEGINS WITH YOU WEATHER YA LIKE IT OR NOT*
Next game just gotta be Mr.H's part.
Who wouln'tp l ay that?
given the fact they both flew away in a ball of light, i think its safe to say Joshua is an angel as well.
I think he is unhappy because he can't be with his friends there. He's now above them but lonely. At least that's what I'm getting from this scene.
+Steven Wolf neku is alive because after joshua shot him he woke up and people started to notice him also the reapers gsme is over
I just finished the game and from what i can see, Joshua admitted he is wrong after all and that people can change and Shibuya is not worth destroying, this video exactly tries to explain that.
Lauchlin Yurchuk
Essentially, Joshua wanted to see that people could change and challenged Neku to a duel.
@@alexeas5256 thanks a lot man you saved my life☺❤
Of course, some characters would remain. Koki, for one, seeing as he's one of the secret reports says that the only thing stopping him from becoming an angel is his lack of motivation.
@Kalyps043 I think it actually said in the game that his entry fee for the last week was all the other players. Thats why Beat teamed up with him :)
After reading all the secret reports, my perception of TWEWY has changed for the better. Such a good game.
Thinking of sequel, i really want it to focus on the angels, and what they get up to. i think TWEWY has quite an intresting backstory/lore, and i hope they focus on that some more.
I mean, there's clearly a lot of angels living in the higher plane. but surely they don't JUST look over the Reapers Game, right? they have to do something else, or else they'd be bored to tears.
wew....WTF so that was joshua's true form.....he looks like a GOD xD
Mr. Hanekoma was my favorite character, then he beat me 3 seconds flat.
I think it means Neku is beginning a new life. A new world. A world that ends with him. See?
@DuskChill I figure the Composer manipulates the minds of people in direct touch with the winning players to make them forget they were ever gone. It would be kinda like what he did during the Red Skull pin ordeal. I'm even willing to wager that the players themselves will eventually forget The Game. That would explain why nobody knows what happens after death (unless they're Reapers).
Did you guys notice that the title change from The world ends with you to The world begins with you?
joshua's unhappy cuz he wants to hang out with them too :)
Well that and cause they wouldn't really react to him the same way as each other. They'd be kind of afraid of him knowing what he could do as a composer and such. Even if Neku does trust him, they'd still feel abit iffy around him. A
After all, if you knew someone or had a friend with powers such as being able to erase people and such, you'd be a bit cautious around them too. Even so having to be afraid or uncomfortable around someone is not something you'd like to have with a friend.
He's the producer. That's why he's writing the secret reports.
@homicidalpsychokat
Mr.
@Randamia101 It's confirmed throughout the story that they are headphones. Many times too, point of fact.
@VanitasLover I think for a sequel , square should do about neku and the others being dragged through all the other UG'S , I mean like if each of them became composers of the UG's for other places , joshua did say that there are other UG'S other than shibuya , and it's possible that neku and others might begin to get bored with everyday life and want to expirience the adventure they felt from shibuya's reaper game. but they'd need a way to enter the UG's
this is all theoretical
@Muralhator Having read Wikis and finished collecting the secret reports (good thing I saw this video or I'd never have seen the Stinger, having forgetten about it) one theory is that, in the Another Day chapter, Mr. H told that Neku he might need him "sooner than either of us think".
Seems to suggest a sequel could take place in one of them alternate worlds the game toys with.
@applekingdom987 he was upset that even though he won his Game with the conducter (forget his name) Hanekoma and the rest of the High Angels told him he can't erase Shibuya, since as Hanekoma said "it's their world", (the humans, who wanted shibuya to remain)so it's not Joshua's right to make that decision.
joshua was sad because mr. H betrayed him and mr. H was playing it off like it was nothing.
@SoraKairiRiku4eva Joshua is the Composer. It's revealed after defeating the final boss from the storyline.
@bushicheeno They're talking about the gun showdown between Joshua and Neku. He had an entry fee then and Kalyps043 was wondering what it was. I personally think it was Shiki and Beat.
@Xackadee
(con't)...So Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya because he felt a little love, he didn't do it because he saw how people react under immense pressure.
@Neonsuperskinny Reusing an older comment of mine here:
Actually there was never a fourth week for Neku.
@666or999
My theory is that because Joshua was supposed to erase Shibuya but didnt .
The composer has to be an angel from the higher plane.
- Secret Reports.
@straywolf184 there is a rumor about Nomura whishing to create a sequel of twewy, Square-Enix even filled a trademark in japan few days ago.
@xXZettaFreakXx Well it's been said that Neku's appearance in KH3D does hint they they may have plans in store for Neku.
@SmashBro181
for all we know, those could be very cool earmuffs.
@Randamia101 Trust me, they're headphones. He listens to music with them all the time XD.
@Xackadee
I suppose Joshua wanted to be human and live like one.
Quick, he's taken his headphones off! Lets get there before the other fangirls!
then you don't get the story; it says 'The World begins with you' because Neku now has more than one perspective and his world is now beginning with him not staying the solitary emo-like person he once was
So far they have the Iphone/Ipad released for it but my friend said that sometime next year there has been rumored of a sequel. Lets cross fingers.
@VanitasLover nomura wants there to be a sequel , but theres so much else to do. i just hope they keep all the main characters and don't change any of them , cause i know everybody can get attached to these characters easily :C
