      @@GerberosHilleri1 Haha, I’ve had it since January 4th 2022. Took about 6 months from order to garage. Excellent car - absolutely love it!

    War eigentlich auch immer skeptisch, aber man sieht ihn ja jetzt immer öfter und ich muss sagen, mir gefällt er mittlerweile recht gut.

    Die Produktionshallen sind ja sauberer wie mancher OP Saal , schönes Auto leider kann ich mir es nicht leisten .

    I love the styles of the designed Volkswagen luxury's on wheel's; although I've never owned one; and also, I love the rich scene's shown by attached 🎥 video on how Volkswagen's are made; 👀 looks beautiful and interesting.↗👌

    the first production site.... thats not the series production line? - Looks like preserial line? I cant see they can keep any realistic cycle time here

    Vw please offer a lighter interior trim on models as well as a lighter roof trim option, ad stop making thrown trim compulsory on top trims , please offer the lighter interior option that the USA did on the id4 founders

      Compared to Tesla VW have MUCH better interior quality, and the car overall have better quality. I know, I owned two Tesla :D

      @@Olliebobalong Possibly, but that is not the reason. Dresden is a very small factory w/ lots of manual labor. It is kinda like a car manufacturing exhibition. They build that 'manufacture' to assemble the more expensive Phaeton Model (you remember that thing?) and create a more special delivery experience. People who bought a Phaeton basically went there, watched how their luxury car was build using lot of manual-steps, and returned home w/ their new Phaeton. Today the Phaeton is history, but the VW-Glass-Factory still serves it's original purpose: Representing the brand in the light they want to be represented. Back then it were luxurious cars. Nowadays it is electric mobility (first E-Golf, now ID3).

    looking primitive compared to Tesla. Wheres the acclaimed speed and efficiency. A lot of place for manual failure. The machines move so slowly. Zen and the art of automobile construction. Why not hand-carve the tires while you are at it? Jobs, I get it. Swiss watches, and all that. Craftmanship. Let me remind you: The Future is Now.

      Yep, the machines are working slowly. But the result is a good car. Tesla is nothing but good software. The rest is just crap.

      Its more or less a prototype production by VW volume standards. Also it can be wise to show manual labor for 2 reasons:
      * You dont necessary want to show off your best "production secrets" on UA-cam, unless you want to be bragging about it ;)
      * In Germany a lot of people are biased against electric cars, because there are threaten to make tons of high valued jobs obsolete. So this is a good marketing move to show that EVs can create jobs as well

      Nonsense, they are still ramping the production, vw makes 10 million cars a year compared to tesla with barely 500k.

      This is not any production plant, it is the „Gläserne Manufaktur“ . It was designed to be a Manufaktur in which the people can look inside and see how the cars are getting made.
      It was created for the VW Pheaton- a luxurious car which should compete against the s Claas, 7 Series and A8.
      The real ID3 production line is in Zwickau, which is a much more autonomous factory, as you can imagine with much higher capacity (right now 1400cars a day)
      Look that up...
      Right now VW uses this production plant for the ID3, because they don’t have any other product for this plant. But I guess in the future this production plant will be used for an exklusive electric car or a car with low production numbers.

      Wir hatten auch einen, jetzt im Winter nicht mal 23 % der Reichweite erreicht. Zum anderen kommen immer mehr Fahrverbote efahrer.chip.de/news/feinstaub-fahrverbot-warum-es-auch-e-auto-besitzer-treffen-koennte_103769 Parkverbote...... Jetzt kommt der Knaller die EU prüft ob E-Auto wirklich CO2 neutral sind. Durch die Abschaltung weiterer Kraftwerke in Deutschland wird der Import von Strom auf über 20 % steigen.
