I am so happy with your choice of sengoku basara music, makes this video 100x better and fits perfectly with the story. for those interested, the beginning song "Osaka - Winter siege" is from sengoku basara 3 :)
For the first 9 seconds of this video there are roughly 17 different buttons used to take out the first NPC, just putting this video into perspective against people who are not this good or don't know what the fuck is going on.
Jomez j the dead or alive series as well as the ninja gaiden series. All the games were good. It the story and weapon direction of ninja gaiden 3 left a very bad taste in a lot a fans mouths however the rerelease of NJ4:razors edge helped a bit as the weapons returned (aside from the dragon blade) but it was too little to late however they do have an impressive repertoire under their belts

is gladiator covering his status of effect? I was using something this am and I couldn't see it on mine, i see him using fire and either poison or something brown on his and I see no indicator telling us what the extra dmg is he's doing is from ie 3:03
Nier Automata was hugely disappointing to me from the way everybody was talking about it. Boring combat, boring levels, and the overall style is a painful mashup of way too many types of games.
While I do agree that Automata's combat was quite shallow Nioh's isn't any better, in fact both of them face the problem of attempting to be RPGs when their combat is suited to an actual action game Anyways NieR's selling point was the story, Platinum games have not been concentrating on combat enough for some reason

I still didn't understand why many demons (especeally big red ones) at the start of the fight lost all stamina after 1-2 strikes and fall. It is because I strike from the back, or any other reasons...

dracobuster flamingtiger dont get hit and stick em with the pointy end. but jokes aside. patience is key in the beginning. learn enemy patterns and stamina management and take it slow.
stay in low stance all the time, you can spam X to dash away ridiculously fast. Helped me a lot as a noob, after you get that down start incorporating midstance into your gameplay and don't forget to get used to using ki burst
XLH, if you're reading this post, what is your opinion on strength weapons from the demo? I would love to see some of your high level gameplay featuring the axe or hammers in the demo. I had a strength stamina build for the demo so that I could try for some big swings with an axe and rock some of the cooler armor without being too slow... but to be honest it felt pretty boring and after watching you showcase the other weapons, they just seem awful now haha. You make every weapon look so stylish (no doubt from your background in DMC). I'll be staying tuned to your youtube for future tips with this awesome game. After watching you play, I have to say it's just not at all a souls like game as much as a DMC game just missing the style meter. Can't believe I forgot about them after so many hours of my youth devoted to DMC 3... thank you for your video!
Thank you for your comment ^^ I don't use the axe/hammer. But i think you could still implement some critical strikes for punishing purposes. Remember, you can equip 2 weapons and go between them mid combat.
oh and whats the best way or skill to deplete enemy ki? right now all i do is kick. but sometimes when i fight any oni, some attack seem to deplete their ki faster and sometimes they just losr their ki all at once. any tips for that?

Darealpokgai .MacauGamer big onis weakspot is their face. if you hit it you can deplete their ki completely.
