I went looking for this SunJoe on Amazon. Great price & great reviews except for one important thing. Nearly all the negative reviews mentioned this one problem. There are 2 replaceable parts: the blade(s) & the counter plate. The problem is that, while replacement blades are easy to come by, the counter plates - which these users say needs replacing about yearly - are impossible to find! Even is you call SunJoe directly. I did just that & got put on a wait list and got fed the same excuses as the reviewers described. Some of them had been on the wait list for over a year! They advised don’t buy this SunJoe UNLESS & UNTIL you’re able to score at least one replacement counter plate!

not recommended ! you can't get parts for sunjoe . i have been waiting for 9 months for a counter plate !

BTY... be careful.. buying a CHIPPER or a Shredder is a big difference.
