I never see the fascination with bond funds. Maybe I'm just too simple, but finding a decent issuer with a bond that is attractively yielding, and holding till maturity - that seems like the most obvious play for me. None of this worrying about price movements or correlations. After cash, bonds should be the most hands-off of my investments. Lock em up and let them compound away
