Hey guys! I hope you are enjoying these recreation videos! Let me know how you thought I did with recreating the items! Also I do have one more recreation video I filmed but I dont know if you guys would get tired of the many in a row so let me know what you think! Have a wonderful day! Love ya💖
Yes, please. More recreation videos! Your indecisiveness is so relatable and the reason why I almost always come home with two of something and not just one.
I’m telling you I make clothes for a living… I own a wholesale apparel company and I sell the same stuff to stitch fix that I sell to TJ Maxx but also to Francesca’s, Nordstrom (BP), Free People, Target etc. All these places have the same stuff… you just don’t have a great chance of finding it in TJ Maxx since they buy only 1200-2000 pieces of an item when they have over 2400 stores to make it a “treasure hunt”
The gray shirt under the plaid with the ripped jeans and the booties would be the perfect fall outfit. You’d fit right in here in Washington. Love the concept of this video. It shows the true value of the sub box and shows your audience that just because it is a sub box doesn’t mean they’re actually getting a deal. An idea would also be to see if you could recreate a box with thrifted items as well
Anyone else remember....stitch fix sucks so much its second hand over priced CLOTHING. I know you can make a WAY CHEAPER ONE GOING TO GOODWILL/SALVATION ARMY ECT WE ARE ALL A BIT OFF HERE LMAO 😭😋I'm laughing so hard so funny it took me 2 videos to get it! Girl You kinda missed the mark it's so funny we all did.
I have ripped jeans with black lace behind the rips. You could try some black lace behind the rips! I get so many compliments on them. They were expensive but I got them on sale! It’s really easy to add the lace. My dog tore the lace and I had to fix it. Just get the no sew strips and use the iron! Too easy!
@@Ginny4407 oh that would look nice. My jeans are dark blue with black lace. So many people compliment them from teenagers to seniors! I definitely will do this to other jeans I buy. These jeans were 200 bucks! I got them on sale and had a coupon so I paid about 80 still a lot money for me, but I loved them!
I love these videos! And don't worry about the items being exactly the same, I like that you take the "idea" of the items and find something similar that you like/love. That's the big concern with some subscription boxes "you could take the money you spent on the subscription and buy things you'd actually want for less."
I love the orange knitted sweater! I think this was a successful recreation of a more “Alexandria version” of the box. Now I’m wishing I had a tj max near me.
I really like these comparison videos. They are really clever and what we have all wanted to do or see and no one else has done it! The black blouse was definitely comparable and you liked it better. Totally worked. We are having the same shoe problem here in Texas at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Burlington. They must all be stuck in shipping containers at ports. BTW - LOVE the lampshade. It is giving me 70s flashbacks because we had the same kind when I was a kid. 😁
When you showed the clips of you trying the sweaters on and had the ripped jeans on, I was like OKAY BUT THOSE JEANS!! So therefore, they’re a winner. Hands down.
The first sweater (the v-neck with dolman sleeves) Looks so good on you! Both the colour and shape. I also love that I get to watch this right after I got home from shopping at Marshall's. It's cool to see what someone else would pick
I could relate so much. I too prefer anything that gives comfort and is soft. And jeans should always be the most comfortable item ever or it is not going into the cart.
Love that both are possible! For people who can't get out and shop (from a disability or any restrictions) or for people who don't really know their style, Stitch Fix is great! For those that love a bargain and know what they want head to TJ Maxx and Marshalls
I love your recreations!! When you were talking about you and your mom feeling the sweaters, one of my friends and I do the same thing. Before we even try sweaters and blouses on we have to feel them to be sure they are soft enough!
Yes I love that you recreate boxes it makes me think a little more on if I really need stuff or not lol. But now I wanna go to tj Maxx and buy a new sweater.
I think that you are in your element when recreating the stuff. You can mix all the best skills you have: the do-it-yourself aspect, the styling, the explaining. This might be a surprise, but I think that you would make a good elementary school teacher.
I think...total success! I loveeeeeeeeeee saving money lol. One huge reason I never tried any of those subscription clothes boxes is ..they arent looking at prices like I would be. Love the new series..hope to see more!
TJMAXX, Burlington and Marshalls are my STORES! I can easily blow $100 in either every time I go. I just find so much well priced clothes, décor and skincare.
You spending money on things that you actually want, as opposed to receiving disappointing, overpriced, mystery boxes of things you'll never use is the best content on your entire channel.
I llloooovveeee your selections!!! You did an amazing job. Your choices are way way way better than Stitch Fix. I love your new boots, super cute! Thank you for sharing!
That "Victorian mourning" shirt! WOW. I can't find it locally or online, but I would have bought that if it fit my chest in a heartbeat! You made some GREAT choices!
That's the most clean and tidy tj maxx I've ever seen. I've been in a few where the floor was covered in clothes and finding anything was a laughably naive thought. I'm jealous
First of all I LOVE the lamp in your room!!! I must have it !!!! This was a Fabulous and fun video!! I love the recreation of the boxes!! More please!! 💙🐞
I love the things you picked out. I don’t like clothes that feel like I’m being strangled either. Your boots are much cuter than the shoes from Stix Fix. I’d love to see more videos like this, the recreation videos are fun to watch.
Great job! I dont think u could ever get the same experience in a clothing subscription box. Not only are we all different sizes, but we also all have specific tastes. A stylist who is putting items together for thousands of people simply cant duplicate the in store possibilites.
My opinion is Stitch Fix is for people who do not have access to stores, since it is far more economical to shop TJ Maxx. Love that you put comfort first over style or fad. I totally agree with you there. 💖🌹
This was great. The first extra shirt also looked there is was a skull in the middle of it, so looked like a perfect shirt for you. This was a great comparison!
I would love to see you do the stitch fix box and the recreation in the same video then at the end go over the pricing! I’m loving your TJM content! ❤️
Last week, I went to my favorite stores looking for sweaters and sweatsuits that look cute. At 58 years old I’ve decided this will be my wintertime wardrobe. I probably have 5 pairs of jeans which is enough.
That's amazing. I love the stuff that you got on TJ Maxx, which I don't have here in Canada. The only major store is 5 hours away and it's Walmart. Nothing beats shopping in person and the price! Amazing.
You did SO much better 👍🏻 but this is coming from someone who doesn't want someone else to pick out my clothes and who LOVES to find great deals. Call me cheap I don't care. I'll wear that badge proudly 😁 Loved those boots. My favorite pair of jeans have rips in them as well as functioning pockets (front and back). The other black jeans you bought that were a bit too big? I noticed it had loops. Use a cute belt and you're good to go 👍🏻Oh, and that green/cream tye dye shirt? I love it (green is my favorite color). The only downside? I'm not into cropped shirts/sweaters but I think it's going to look great on you. Great job. Now cancel SF and make this a series. Just you shopping for clothes, household items, etc...
@@OpportunisticOmnivore Oh yeah, that too, lol. I always forget that because most of my clothing has to be washed in cold then hung up to dry 🤭. Never fails. I fit right in the middle of 2 sizes... 😡
Honestly I love these comparison videos. I would also love just a TJ Max haul video or a video where you go to TJ Max to pick out an outfit for an occasion (apple picking, dinner out, working out).
I really love your recreation videos!! I think it's a fun way to show the difference between pricing and selections in some of the boxes versus being able to be a little more involved in choosing what fits your style (and budget). You did a great job!
That was a fun video! I fully supporr the shoe swap for the fall boots! Confort before anything!!!!! My favourite colour of the moment is also that orangr you wear. :)
I love this and you! I have really been focusing on sustainability and lessening my purchases of unnecessary things. I love your unboxing videos, but this is a really great to share to show a different way to shop. Thank you for sharing❤

Were you able to return the stitch fix box?
Yessss I'm loving the TJ Maxx (and HomeGoods) content!! Especially combined with subscription boxes, it's so fun. 😊
Im so glad you like it!!
I feel the same way!!!

I love this! Way better than simply opening and reviewing the box. The new background is so cool!
Thank you!

“It’s soft” is the only justification you need. Period.
This is fun! I love this video concept - comparing subscription boxes to to Maxx and Marshall’s etc prices.
Im so happy to hear you like it!
I LOVE “Mourning-Victorian”!!! And I know exactly what you’re talking about. 😝😍
I’m so glad you got the ripped jeans…you looked great in them and “pulling something off” is all about confidence! If you feel good you’ll look good

OOh that's so clever!
@@mollyapteros it’s a nice way to wear rip jeans without seeing skin. Plus I’m super pasty white (Irish) I’m not comfortable showing my legs.
That's so 80s Goth and I love it! 😁
I may try this idea with white lace behind my blue denim jeans. Thanks for the tip!

So happy you're doing more of these! Love the unboxings of course, but it is fun to see how they could be recreated!
Im so glad you lien them!
for fall and winter, wear a cute pair of tights under the ripped jeans, for both warmth and a cute pop of color
Clearly selecting your own is the better, and more fun deal. I love to see you recreate subscription boxes. The boots are adorable.

Blue Spice jeans are honestly one of my favorite brands of jeans!! I love them so much all of their jeans are incredibly comfortable!
Oooo...that first orange sweater has a vintage look to it, meaning 40's or 50's I think. VERY interesting cut and very flattering!
When you showed the clips of you trying the sweaters on and had the ripped jeans on, I was like OKAY BUT THOSE JEANS!! So therefore, they’re a winner. Hands down.
Ok I am so excited. This just seems more personal.
I hope you enjoy the video!
That leather skirt looks amazing on you!
Oh thank you!
That leather skirt would look great with that chunky knit burnt orange sweater!! With some converse or combat boots 💕

Agreed. I can’t go out right now so a box subb is better for me. But I love stores once it’s safe.

I love it when you create your own box set of clothes and other items!
Loving these “recreation” videos and definitely want to see more! I love the pieces you found yourself so much more then the ones from the box!
The distressed jeans look phenomenal on you. Rock those rips! And those boots are worlds better than the stitch fix shoes!
I really like the 2nd orange sweater with the intricate pattern.
It isn’t a cozy home to me without an authentic Midcentury fiberglass lampshade 🖤✨ love this video idea.
I saw that! I love the map too! It reminds me of my Grandma and Grandpa's house when I would visit. 🥰
YAY!!!! New video!!! We have missed you!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have missed you guys too!
Your style and what you bought is WAY cuter than what Stitch Fix picked out for you and WAY cheaper. Great job! 💝
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!!! So much I had to type it in caps😊😁
Aww yay! Im so happy to hear that!
I Looooove the re-creation videos! Love love love!
I love the orange sweater with the knit waves!!
