  • Captured here are various vehicles of the Paris Fire Brigade (Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris) including ambulances, rescue engines, and a ladder truck, responding to different emergency calls around the French capital. You will also see some clips of other ambulances and medical units on duty in the city.
This is my first-ever video from France and I hope you like it! What do you think of the French emergency vehicles? Let me know in the comments!

Yea I kinda like them too. It’s not too hard to catch stuff in Paris (it is super busy with emergency vehicles all the time…) but I did get very lucky catching the ladder truck right next to the Eiffel Tower! 😍

Very nice the video with different vehicles of the Paris Fire Brigade, (Military Unit of the French Army, under the specialty of the Engineer Army of the French Armed Forces. Composed of more than 8750 soldiers realizing more 500,000 operations per year.).
Possibly take a walk near the police station, and or the Lariboisière or Necker hospitals (the vehicles of the emergency medical teams leave for interventions in its hospitals in particular)

Awesome videos! Never been to Paris (to be fair, after a few less than pleasant experiences in Metz, I haven't been to France in a while).

Thank you! Ah I see. Were those experiences specific to the fire department/ emergency vehicle spotting or just in general? I have to say I had a fairly negative view of France/ Paris before the trip, from all the stereotypes and bad stories I’ve heard, but was in fact very pleasantly surprised. While I was there everyone was really friendly and helpful and I did not have any issues (but also did not try to visit a fire station as I was just sightseeing).

At least the Europeans drive on the right side of the road, unlike our British cousins. 😂😂
I'm of French decent and have been to Switzerland and Germany, but not France. Hopefully will visit someday. Ive still got the firefighters helmet the Zurich VFD gave me in '82. Hard to believe my 30 years in the Fire Service is now over.
    Another good video!!

Great series of catches! I've only been to Paris once, before I had a UA-cam channel, but I'd love to go back someday.

It's interesting to see how France's fire brigades prefer to use "pompier" while Quebec's fire brigades prefer to use "incendie"

I think it has to be due to the North American influence (emphasizing the word ‘fire’ on fire trucks rather than ‘firefighters’).
