I said the wrong date and mispronounced Betwixt but made it through the whole town without falling off the curb. So I’ll call that a win.😀
Praying someone restores the Sylvia one day. A lot of great memories in there.
I went to school with the daughter of the owner of Neely's drugstore from 7th grade to 12th grade.
The store was hung in there for a time even after Walmart moved into town, but it closed for good
after she was killed in a tragic accident.
Thanks for sharing. It’s sad to see all these independent drugstores disappear

I love those old theaters. Just about every town center had one at one time or another.

Yes, York is a pet friendly town.
Yes it’s really growing and they are currently building roads straight into Charlotte
@@CarterKey6is that bringing more crime in yet? Specifically, bad people who hurt kids. Husband is at a final interview in Steele Creek area. We are farm people and would like to raise our kids in a safe, small town.
@@Darkeyes3259 my children are in the Clover School District but I have friends who are in York and they really like it. We have considered moving there to have a farm. I feel very safe in York and if you are in the countryside it’s very safe.
