I assumed Elle was British. I saw her in Maleficent, where she did an English accent, and again in Mary Shelly. Whenever she had an American accent in a film I thought she was putting it on. I think it's because she gives of a similar vibe to British actresses like Emma Watson, Lily James, and Cara Delevingne. Also, I knew Dakota Fanning was American, so it was utterly stupid of me to think Elle Fanning wasn't, haha

How Douglas turns to see Bel when she first speaks, and just stares at her and tries to tell her something but then realizes they're working. I want someone to look at me that way.

Saw this film the other night, very enjoyable and very well done. They all did accents well especially Elle. I can't hear a southern accent in this interview even though she's from Georgia.
I was actually surprised that this movie didn’t even get an Oscar nomination.

My sister and I loved Douglas Booth in Mary Shelley. When it was insinuated in the film that he was having a side relationship with Mary’s sister, my sister said “Please tell me he is not sleeping with her!” So when I broke the news that he is dating Bel Powley from the movie my sister said shockingly “You have got to be kidding. Maybe she is really nice.”😂
Thats Bel Powley on the left his girlfriend since 2016 and now they are engaged July 3 2021.
