Yess!! A tutorial for my favorite fashion accessory! Ive been dying to find one but nobody’s posted yet until now. You can add a lot of beads or pearls or rhinestones to make it really extra because my logic is “why just have a simple choker when you can have an elaborate one with beads and sparkles to match your gown!”. Ive tried to make it elastic but I feel like its not tight enough so using ribbons is really great. Its also really flattering since it balances out your gown and gives the eye something to look up to since it frames your face and, if you have a rather thick neck like I do, makes your neck appear smaller and longer especially with a bit of a narrower frill. Great job on this tutorial and I love the pleated version you made since its so gothic in a sense because of the dark colors
im a complete sewing noob but this worked out beautifully in making a ruffled choker for booette. thank you so much for sharing your technique and artistry
So cute! Now I have the weirdest idea to combine this with your waterfall pleats tutorial to make a collar jabot thing for perhaps a lolita/ouji look! 🤔

Oh I am glad you liked it. And yes… I may have done one light and one dark on purpose ;)
That's a very sweet, but quick and easy, addition, for sure. Thanks for the tutorial. Take care.

So easy and it looks great with a new 19th century bodice. You had the best tutorial. I made the pleated one. Love it.

I think I'm going to use the ruffled one for my next Magikarp dress. ;)
love it!
Now I want to find an excuse to make one
Any and all excuses are good ;)
Wow is that elegant! You could also use elastic, It wouldn’t work for pleats tho.
Thank you :)
You can indeed and then add the ribbon over the top
