I agreed with your opinion. Everybody has different opinion and preferences. Like me, i love action adventure games, especially Uncharted Game Series. 2nd The Last of Us.
If you like Dark Fantasy RPGS, have to get BG3, DD2, Divinity Orginal Sin 2, Lords of Fallen 2, Lies Of Pi, and maybe Diablo 4….. A under the radar one is Shadows of Awakening which is pretty good…. Still waiting for a new Dragon Age, but could play Inquisition if you haven’t played and is probably really cheap.

2018 gow is definitely not more replayable😭it has like 17 boss battles compared to gow ragnorak having 90 boss battles, and the combat is a lot more fun and the 2018 one has alot more boring parts in the story.
With all the garbage being pumped out by SBI, I think older games are going to see a resurgence in popularity. If you want anything new, you have to get it from Asian devs.

@@jessepinkman876 in technical aspects I agree it is better, better graphics modern animations, but in others things I don't agree is better, I think RDR1 until this day has done certain things better, example, side characters, main story, soundtracks, the whole vibe and environment being in a actual west in the desert.
@@jessepinkman876 the soundtracks are good but not memorable like in RDR1, because you only hear then once in one mission and never again, I think the story is basically another GTA story, a group of thiefs and killers trying to be rich while running away from the police every GTAis like that, and in RDR2 you barely do main mission with those 23 side characters in the gang to actually know them, RDR1 is the opposite of the GTA games, RDR2 is way more a GTA game but with the twist that the main character gets sick because of karma, you said the world feels more alive this is basically like I said, technical aspects are superior, better graphics and modern animations. RDR 1 have a more personal story, about a bounty hunter that was a outlaw in the past trying to save his family from the government and sacrifice himself for them. I think the redemption name make more sense and fit more the story of RDR1 and john, while in RDR2 the whole game for 6 chapters the main character is doing bad things, killing people and robbing people with the goal of being rich just to find out that he was sick and because of the sickness he get scared of dying and starting to do some good things in his last days, arthur doesn't have a genuine redemption is forceful and partial because arthur says he regrets but he still kept robbing and killing people even after he find out he was sick in the end chapter 5, and was gonna die because of it, what kinda person says he regrets doing bad things but he still keeps doing then even after saying he regret? It doesn't make sense, John redemption was doing good things since the beginning of RDR1, John does good things to others not because he is sick or afraid of dying in the end, but because he wants to it, is a genuine redemption. The name redemption makes more sense in RDR1. Aside from that RDR2 being a supposedly prequel have a lot of retcons and contradictions to the lore created in RDR1 to RDR2, that makes both games feel like another universe or different timeline from the events and lore story mentioned in RDR1 about the past.

I agree the game is a lot like gta in robbing and killing people but to a lot of people rdr2 is one of the best story’s rockstar has done. Rdr1 you’re playing John hunting down members of the gang while rdr2 you get to see more of this gang and get backstory. John said in rdr1 they were a bunch of killers and thieves which is what we see in rdr2 but there were more to them than that. If rdr2 was just another gta clone than it wouldn’t be talked about like it is. For example a lot of people agree gta 4 has a better story than 5 if not the best story out of the gta’s. If rdr2 was as shallow as gta 5 it wouldn’t be talked about with the praise it does.
Hello Dear, I will like to add my own experiences with all of these games. I believe that each of us can have their own unique experiences playing various games and my opinions differ from yours on some of these games: 1. Hifi-Rush - I haven't played so let's move on. 2. RE4 Remake - Haven't played any RE so let's move on again. 3. Lies of P - Have completed it. In all honesty the story is decent at best i.e. compared to other game which are not limited to this genere but if compared by games in the genere its certainly good. This is certainly not a title which will be recommended for its storyline but for gameplay and same can be said for its target audience. In terms of difficulty I believe the game is hard. In fact personally I found it harder than Sekiro (I have platinum in Sekiro) as points and that is most likely that I played this right after Sekiro. Both games have parry mechanics and coming from Sekiro I was not able to adjust to parry windows that efficiently + the boss movements don't feel that rhythmic compared to Sekrio. Another aspect that I will really like to point out is that the game is extremely linear. Like the linear most game. Unlike Sekiro or God of War there is nothing at all for you to explore. You will most certainly have to walk a single predefined path. Over all I will say this game is like 7/10 for me. (Opinions do differ) Recommended you get it on sale out at least 30% or get Game pass. Too high base price but hey it does have good graphics. 4. God Of War - You can kill me but I really think that game is overrated. Here are my reasons: a. As @Pixel Dragon already stated that the game did benefitted from a long due new game in the series. b. Majority players who did play this can be divided into 3 categories ( THIS IS MY OPINION ): i) Those who rarely play story games and wanted to play for the hype and for those its a good game cause yes its above average. ii) Those who have played the original 3 games. Yes, you can certainly relate more and enjoy more. iii) Those who play other story games but didn't play original 3. I come under 3rd category and I didn't like it and same was the case for some of my friends. Before anyone from 3rd category intends to purchase this I highly recommend to watch any youtube video as to why its not that good of a game to get a better understanding. Again your opinions can differ from mine. 5. Last of Us Remake - This is originally a 2013 game and is a masterpiece for its timeline but just hear me out, I think its had its glory days. Given its 2024 the gameplay is barely good. For the whole game I was pushing myself for the ending. This game contradicts its own survival aspect by making the players go full Rambo on enemies. The weapon upgrades are really bad, the stealth upgrades are insanely costly. The only redeeming part for the game for me will be its story which is pretty good but since 2013 we have gotten many more great story games and by human nature the initials stories we see get a preference in ranking. For me I played this game in Jan 2024 and by this time I had played Witcher 3, Ghost of Tsushima, Sekrio, Horizon Zero Dawn, Most of Assassin's Creed games ( yes, The Ezio Trilogy), Cyberpunk 2077 and more which all are masterpieces and did certainly overshadowed the Last of Us storyline. Also, the Remake is currently at a high price when considered to some other games in the video and certainly doesn't seem cost efficient to me. 6. Marvel Spider Man - Haven't played. 7. Ghost of Tsushima - Absolute masterpiece, in all aspects, gameplay, story and combat. 8. RDR2 - Absolute masterpiece. Sadly I had to drop it between due to some reasons, but will start it again soon. 9. Sekiro - Absolute masterpiece. Mostly cause of gameplay and combat. 10. Uncharted 4 - Haven't played but I am skeptical about this after God of War and Last of Us.

You should've put more research into this list. Hogwarts legacy is a massive waste of time, if you are resilient enough, you'll be lucky to be playing after the game ends. It's such a boring game with occasional fun moments that become boring fast. The DLC for rdr1 is better than the actual game, and even that is pretty shitty. Undead nightmare is one of the buggiest games I've ever played, but it's more interesting and has better gameplay than the main game. Would not ever replay rdr1, so many of the same missions over and over again.
I recently bought a PS5 and have tried many games. I tried Ghost of Tsushima and absolutely loved it, but for some reason, I couldn't get into Naughty Dog games. I don't know why; they've been touted as some of the greatest, but I was bored. However, I enjoyed God of War: Ragnarok. I've already played Red Dead Redemption 2 and have over 500 hours on Steam. I also absolutely loved Sekiro. However, I hated Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us.

Honestly there can be a whole new cast of characters and story unrelated to the Dutch Gang in Red Dead 3, and I'll still buy it day one full price. Rockstar Games will indeed deliver on story, voice acting, gameplay, cutting edge technology, atmosphere and artistic innovation in their fictional wild west worlds for the current hardware available at the time. Lies of P is one of the best game of 2023 and honestly it's the only souls-like game that can directly be compared with From's , personally i've enjoyed it more than i've enjoyed Elden Ring.
Everything felt like a brief tutorial at first. But it's only because the game has a lot of mechanism to offer and all of it is well put. But in order to finish the campaign a lot mechanism isn't as important. Like hunting or fishing or trading. It's just there to make the experience of the game better. Felt like a chore to me at first too. But as soon as i realized that not all the tutorials ar not that important for the campaign it changed my perspective and later went to the mechanism when i was hooked on the game completely.
Then the game genre wasn't for you. RDR2 story was insane. And the thing about RDR is the details and freedom. Its a huge open world with stuff happening everywhere. If you felt bored, you simply were prob rushing stuff etc.

5. Last of Us Remake - This is originally a 2013 game and is a masterpiece for its timeline but just hear me out, I think its had its glory days. Given its 2024 the gameplay is barely good. For the whole game I was pushing myself for the ending. This game contradicts its own survival aspect by making the players go full Rambo on enemies. The weapon upgrades are really bad, the stealth upgrades are insanely costly.
The only redeeming part for the game for me will be its story which is pretty good but since 2013 we have gotten many more great story games and by human nature the initials stories we see get a preference in ranking. For me I played this game in Jan 2024 and by this time I had played Witcher 3, Ghost of Tsushima, Sekrio, Horizon Zero Dawn, Most of Assassin's Creed games ( yes, The Ezio Trilogy), Cyberpunk 2077 and more which all are masterpieces and did certainly overshadowed the Last of Us storyline.
Also, the Remake is currently at a high price when considered to some other games in the video and certainly doesn't seem cost efficient to me.
6. Marvel Spider Man - Haven't played.
7. Ghost of Tsushima - Absolute masterpiece, in all aspects, gameplay, story and combat.
8. RDR2 - Absolute masterpiece. Sadly I had to drop it between due to some reasons, but will start it again soon.
9. Sekiro - Absolute masterpiece. Mostly cause of gameplay and combat.
10. Uncharted 4 - Haven't played but I am skeptical about this after God of War and Last of Us.

You should've put more research into this list. Hogwarts legacy is a massive waste of time, if you are resilient enough, you'll be lucky to be playing after the game ends. It's such a boring game with occasional fun moments that become boring fast. The DLC for rdr1 is better than the actual game, and even that is pretty shitty. Undead nightmare is one of the buggiest games I've ever played, but it's more interesting and has better gameplay than the main game. Would not ever replay rdr1, so many of the same missions over and over again.

I recently bought a PS5 and have tried many games. I tried Ghost of Tsushima and absolutely loved it, but for some reason, I couldn't get into Naughty Dog games. I don't know why; they've been touted as some of the greatest, but I was bored. However, I enjoyed God of War: Ragnarok. I've already played Red Dead Redemption 2 and have over 500 hours on Steam. I also absolutely loved Sekiro. However, I hated Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us.

Lies of P is one of the best game of 2023 and honestly it's the only souls-like game that can directly be compared with From's , personally i've enjoyed it more than i've enjoyed Elden Ring.
I couldn't finish Red Dead Redemption 2. Felt more of a chore than a fun game. Not Assassin's Creed Valhalla level chore, but a chore nonetheless.

Finally. Someone who feels the same way. Everything is a tutorial for the first 40 hours. Combat is soooo boring. Graphics and story are great.
Everything felt like a brief tutorial at first.
But it's only because the game has a lot of mechanism to offer and all of it is well put. But in order to finish the campaign a lot mechanism isn't as important. Like hunting or fishing or trading. It's just there to make the experience of the game better.
Felt like a chore to me at first too. But as soon as i realized that not all the tutorials ar not that important for the campaign it changed my perspective and later went to the mechanism when i was hooked on the game completely.
I strongly disagree with that title should be ''in my opinion'' before it. Most people will drop 7/10 games or more.
