Our local council. The lass on the front desk is actually really lovely, or at least she has been every time I’ve been there. Ask how much the mayor’s new car cost us taxpayers. Then they have the cheek to charge us to empty our garden waste bins, while selling the contents to a private profit making company
Yeah she was fine to be fair. Councils are the most flamboyant, extravagant, costly, least value expense of any tax I can think of. They're repugnant. A law unto themselves. There is no overseight, no repercussions or consequences for poor practices. If you vote in a new party, nothing changes. This has been proven at every level from top down. We have no recourse, no compensation, no voice. It infuriates me how they behave with impunity, and they're aware of this. Sorry for the rant 😅 🤪
@@LightsCameraRuction don’t apologise, I’ve had many an argument in that place with various departments over the years, simply because they hate to be held to account by the public. The best one was when a member of staff said she felt “intimidated & threatened” by me when I was refusing to accept the 💩 coming out of her mouth. I asked her to hang on, went & asked the male security guard if he would position himself in between me & her so she had no need to be worried about me, which he did. It instantly eliminated her lie that I was a possible threat to her & you could see the hatred in her eyes towards me when I wouldn’t let her worm her way out of it.
@@LightsCameraRuction sadly I never thought to film interactions back then. I always film them now though. I’m quite tempted to give auditing a go myself. New sub here. Keep up the good work. I look forward to binging on your previous videos & seeing your new ones when they come out too
Thank you. Any organisation funded by the public needs to be transparent and respectful to legitimate requests testing that transparency. This is not political. This is apolitical. I'll hold every council, public body, civil servant, etc, to the same high standards irrespective of political allegiance. Thank you for watching, and stay tuned for more. Thanks again ❤️❤️. LCR
Ugh, 7:33 KAREN ALERT! 📢 She even has the hair and the glasses that just SCREAMS "I'M A KAREN" I'm all for citizens ramping up the pressure on Councils to make them more accountable. Because these SHEISTERS, especially those in high positions, think they are a law unto themselves. They actually believe that OUR money is theirs, to do with as they please, no questions asked. But we should be askingvquestions, because it is US that shoulder the burden of poor services, poor decision making, wasted money, and higher council tax bills. They cant be allowed to get away with cutting vital services that have been budgeted for, when they make poor decisions. We EXPECT the service they have pledged to deliver, and nothing less than that. If these were private companies, they would be expected to COMPENSATE customers if they fail to deliver what has been agreed, and PAID FOR. Why should they get away with it? Maybe all councils should be privately run, then we could sack them when they under perform, then hire somebody else to do the job under a strict contract of service.
😳 so Central Government allocate a budget for a Regional Government to better the lives of local people and businesses and instead they spunk 30 million notes of said budget on an ugly building for ineffectual nobodies to shuffle pieces of paper around and to pass the buck and gaslight others when it all falls flat on its arse? Brilliant, well done to all involved in this wholesale corruption.
@@djsiimz that was 30 million always dear when its government buildings ,contractors screw government when it’s a blank cheques in a few years they will be back screwing them again to do repairs🤪🤪🤪
Hmmm this is interesting. Central governm4nt allocates funds to local authorities to spend for the benefit of the local area thst they serve. Meanwhile; central government runs up a national debt in our name of trillions. So much so that it cannot be paid back in a five year parliamentary term. However, it does not end there. The party in power then deliberately under funds council areas that failed to vote for them in order to punish them and blackmail them into voting the opposite way next time. So local authorities are the unwitting political pawn of central government. Meanwhile the national debt keeps growing. Both china and America are in debt. So what is this debt for? It must be a fear generator to keep us in line. Iceland had an interesting solution to this tyranny using money. It wrote off a simikar debt. Look it up. Funny how littl3 publicised this was. So you are being steered to look at local authorities which is a stsrt. But they are just pawns like us.

People. Just think about this for one minute 😮 on 3.38 a women walks up to a man in a balaclava and says why are you balaclavaed up ? So she thinks its wrong and he might be a dangerous person 🤔 but she walks right up to him ?? 🤔 the stupidly of it always gets me 😂😂😂😂
I’m completely pro auditor 100% but I have to say I don’t like the dash cam comparison! In fairness having a camera that only films when engine is on and in one direction in front of a vehicle is completely different to someone literally walking around the building filming the area with intention. Again, I’m not saying you’re wrong to do this, I just don’t think this comparison is convincing to people who don’t understand what you’re doing.
Auditors that wear balaclava are complete cowards. Complete transparency should always be used in photography. Actually I'm a public photographer but I definitely don't wear a balaclava.
I respect your opinion. Genuine questions though. Do you allow others to dictate what you wear on a daily basis? Also do you regularly critique how people dress in public? Thanks for being here ❤️. LCR
With due respect many people hold their council's to account. But don't wear balaclava .The point been it noticed all recent auditors joining in 2024 are all jumping on the balaclava bandwagon. The main question is what have you lot got to hide.Just recently one balaclava individual was stop and searched and he was actually carrying his passport on him. Well he is not wearing a balaclava anymore .Now what is your excuse. Oh yeah providing privacy in a place the UK auditor myth.
To be fair, I'm not wearing a balaclava, it's a hat, prescription sunglasses, and a neck sleeve. The balaclava was on my first 2 videos I think, just as I was starting up. Thanks for interacting though I hope I cleared that bit up. Take care. LCR
