    The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago has this dance in its repertoire. It is named "Jarabe de Rio Verde" (Dance of the Green River). Mexican dance and music were influenced by the Spanish Colonialism, French Intervention, England, iRIH, Scottish, and others.
